Which isn't that large of an allotment.

It's been 8 minutes and Sum 41 still hasn't sold out which is crazy.

Is ticketweb shitting the bed for anyone? Tried to get a Basement ticket and it charged my card but it says "Card declined" and I haven't gotten an email or anything

Full respect for this energy! Haha. Since there's nothing we need to see at the fest before 1:30pm or so on Sunday I feel like we'll be fine to have a later night on Saturday. But if it was one of the days we were aiming to get there for the very first act? I kinda doubt we'd be going.

Weezer kinda did this at Riot Fest 2014 in a way... Before the Blue Album play they did a "time machine" set which was a song or two each from key albums in reverse chronological order. So they started with the latest single at the time and ended hat set with "El Scorcho" before jumping into Blue. It was pretty fun.

Or it was most of what they had. There’s not a cap on them like there used to be.

Quietly judging some of these bands for how much some of these after shows cost vs others.

Especially when you can already see %80 of their set if you are already going to RF

struck out on st vincent. was going to get MO/MG as a consolidation but I don't want to pay $70 or whatever after fees for the worst venue here.

Catbite confirmed the breakdown of the Operation Ivy cover set. They'll be doing all of Energy (presumably in order?) and fill the rest of the set with whatever else they can fit in. Given that the set is 45 minutes and Energy is 36:45 long I'm expecting they can cram at least 3-4 more in.

Considering Catbite covers "Healthy Body," anyway I think that one's got a strong shot of making it in. But I'm really hoping for "Yellin' In My Ear," "Sleep Long," and "I Got No."

On the tour forum its posted that the Sex Pistols w/ Frank Carter will play more shows in the UK.

I know they are one of the bucketlist bands for Riot Mike so I wonder if he will try to book them even if John Lydon is not there.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Imagine they book them as a headliner and PiL as an act too

Not that far off from The Offspring and The Defiant both playing on the same day this year. haha

I keep hoping the Defiant realize their band kinda sucks, the whole "idea" behind it is ineffectual, and they're never going to catch on in any meaningful way... There's no way they're making money on these tours. But that doesn't really matter given that the folks involved mostly have huge bank accounts.

I just want their egos to break at some point between now and two weeks from now when they'll be at another festival I'm at and they get replaced with somebody not-shitty. LOL

EDIT: But there's also a swath of Bosstones die-hards who still worship Dicky which is, uh, really fucking stupid. And boy are they loud about it.

I love the Bosstones and the Street Dogs. But I have 0 interest in the Defiant and wished that Fat Mike and Riot Mike wouldn’t book them.

  24. I assumed their fanbase was a mix of Dicky stans and people who find their schtick appealing (that Venn diagram might be a circle).

I hope they play it in order. That way at least I could watch the first part of their set to see most of the bigger songs before going to see the rest of Something Corporate. I am still very disappointed with that conflict. Those were two of the sets I absolutely didn’t want to miss any of.
