I did both in 2021. It was weird seeing the same bands a week later and they would say the exact same things between songs.

Some years they have artists that could potentially play Riot.. not this year lol (I guess that almost locks MMJ for Lolla though)

 

If they wait till the lineup drop to put tickets on sale, that means no blind buyer discount which is a bummer. Speaking of, where do we think tickets'll be priced at this year? I got my tickets for '22 in May '21 at the special price for people who rolled over from 2020, so it was $350 for a pair of 3-Day GA Passes after fees. Lol that's never gonna happen again, I figure $350 is the starting point this year.

 

Knocked Loose is out, playing Lolla. Same with Alex G.

 

$350 is what 4 day passes to lolla cost before fees. I don’t think they will be that much. Maybe $250 or even $200. But I think it will depend on the lineup.

 

Was there a leak? I thought the lineup wasn’t out until next week

There will probably be a very short pre-sale before the lineup, but yeah it's obvious nothing has been mentioned because the location of Riot is still tentative

Turned out it wasn’t a leak. I guess they’re doing an RPG game that hints at who’s playing

 

Chris played in 2019, I don't think he's playing again any time soon unless Riot books Further Seems Forever

edit: Dashboard also played in 2014, so I take that back but I think we can fairly say they were the only artist this year.. I saw Lauryn Hill, but I think Riot would only try to book the Fugees and didn't their reunion fall apart

I was going off the Furnace Fest tickets being $350 for their 3 day GA Passes. Also I remember there being a pretty serious jump once they announced the lineup last year, but I don't recall exactly how much they were cuz I already had mine.

 

Im surprised Knocked Loose was booked by Lolla before Riot (kinda pissed too)

 

I’m just surprised because they are in Romania Lolla weekend so the check must have been real good (Au know planes exist but still)

 

Live Nation has a cut in Lolla so Riot can't compete with those pockets and Knocked Loose is one of those bands of this year that end up on the major festivals.

You still got Postal Service in play though, stay positive

From Pitchfork lineup Soul Glo and Illuminati Hotties are out. Happy Chubby and the Gang are still in play

 

and killer mike on there possibly takes RTJ out of the mix. which is fine they have been around recently enough, hope they do a headlining tour though, was sad to miss the chance to see them on the canceled rage tour

The leaked lineup was nearly perfectly correct so my guess is Chubby were booked but dropped out again for whatever reason, meaning Riot probably did not book them. I could be totally wrong though!
