    Safely assuming that's the case

Honestly, I'm kind of impressed. Those are two really solid line ups for a company that's dying.

Harley Davidson must still have good ties with Green Day after the Hella Mega Tour. Makes sense that they grabbed them

Full list of Souls dates up. No shows in September. So unless they have international shows happening, they could be a possibility for Riot

I think with bands like the Souls and Samiam.. it's more if Riot wants to book them or if they are available to play more than anything else... because last year Less Than Jake had a show at House of Blues in July and still played (and Riot has a better relationship with the Metro than HOB).. but May 11 does also fall out of the 90 day clause by A LOT (+/- 128 days)

For the case of the souls too it unfortunately has to lineup with what HWM is doing too. But I would be fine with HWM taking the year off and letting the souls and flats fully go this year

FWIW, Hot Water said they'd be "taking a knee in 2023." So I think you'll probably get your wish! Haha.

I doubt it actually takes out Sincere Engineer.. last year they played like 3 or 4 Chicago area shows and still played Riot, although I do love them they've played 2 of the last 3 Riots so it at least gives another up in coming band a spot

Although it may actually take out TBS because July 21 seems late for a second wave announcement (I could be wrong) I am.. edit: they were added July 19 last year

Any guesses? Makes it more interesting now that TBS is on the sad summer tour so the jersey band probably isn’t them. Favorite guess I saw was HH, alk3 & Thursday

Are Foo Fighters too big to ever play Riot?

It’d be super funny if the Ohio band doesn’t end up being HH

On the tour forum someone posted it was Armor for Sleep, HH and Spitalfield

Although today there was a festival with HH, AAR and Plain White Ts, this last ones being from Illinois

  19. I used to think it would happen one day, maybe on an off-album year, with Dave curating the main stage for a day, but after seeing how the crowd was for MCR, I really do think Foo Fighters are too big.

AAR is from Oklahoma, so that's definitely not the lineup they were teasing. I'd be surprised if Spitalfield did a big tour, but that would be a fun lineup.

Yeah, I had to double check about AAR, but maybe PWT is the IL band

I could be way off, but I feel like Foo Fighters are on par with Green Day who people have been saying are a possibility in recent years.

FF has been headlining festivals that are about the same size as fests GD headlined last year. I know both bands have done stadiums, but I could actually see either/or doing Riot

All this talk about Foo Fighters just got me thinking— Them Crooked Vultures just played their first shows in over a decade at the Taylor Hawkins tribute in September.

If they wanted to play more shows, could they headline Riot Fest? Would they be a good fit? I truly don’t know

Could Them Crooked Vultures headline Riot Fest? No.

I know if they were actually touring regularly that’d be a very silly question, but for their first show back in the states in over a decade? I feel like that’d be a Bikini Kill/Jawbreaker type situation where the rarity of the act really elevates them
