Missed The Joy Formidable (came later today) but glad everyone who saw them enjoyed! Haven't seen them since they opened for Foo Fighters in 2011.

    Sending my love

Printed setlist actually looks to be exactly what they played, but they actually ADDED Cancer which was not on the printed setlist. They’ve been averaging 1:40-1:45 on the regular tour, so with a 90 minute slot, looks like they planned about right. Although I still feel they could have played more if they didn’t have to stop so much.

They sounded so good. I know many people said the stages sounded bad yesterday but I didn't notice it. It's an outdoor festival, maybe people's expectations are too high?

AOF and then dinner, everything is much more chill today so far

Over/under on how many people leave the Rise stage after Yellowcard plays Ocean Avenue at the beginning?

I'm already seeing all those people with their phones up in the air.

Heads up for anyone who is staying downtown - the city will be restricting access after what happened last night.

“NotifyChicago: Expect intermittent street closures as needed tonight on DLSD, Michigan Ave and Expressway ramps. Multiple assets will be in place.”

“NotifyChicago: Residents who live or work in the affected area will be allowed access with a driver's license or work I.D.”

Is it a problem if I drive to the JEW aftershow at the Metro?

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I’d be willing to bet money that they skip OA and then play it last

I am begging please get GWAR onto one of the mid size stages next year. EVERY time it's impossibly packed on the Rebel stage when they play there.

Here’s the problem with Gwar - you have to schedule bands after them that won’t have a problem with the fake blood being all over or have them close a stage. This is why they often close and why it’s Rebel because they shouldn’t be closing Rise or Radical.

  21. The Pink Line is mania right now. Had such an easy time getting out yesterday but no such luck today.

I left right after SDRE and it was pretty crowded then but luckily I managed to get on the first train that came.

I saw The Menzingers for the first time, having never (or at least very briefly if I have) listened to them before and I was VERY impressed. I went because my buddy I was with wanted to go and said I would like them.

Also I found out during that set what @MexicanGuitars username refers to haha.

  25. I left during Yellowcard’s encore and the line to get into the Kedzie station was a block long. On a train now at least. They’re limiting it to about a train’s worth of people on the platform, which is for sure good for safety, just takes a long time.
