Andrew WK has been part of Marky Ramone in the past. So maybe his annual apperance at Riot will be with him?

I know he is been MIA since marrying Kat Dennings, but maybe?

It’s been 6 years since I’ve gone. How far is the Roots to Riot stage? I’m trying to figure out how shitty it’s gonna be getting from Alkaline Trio to MCR. Especially knowing the MCR crowd will be insane.

if they stick to last years layout - just across a small field from each other, if they go back to previous layouts, directly next to each other. either way they are the 2 stages so close they cant have bands at the same time, youll be fine

Ya I'm trying to figure out what time I have to leave Bleachers for MCR cus I can't wait all the way until the end

I will see Taking Back Sunday, and if I notice the crowd is too big I might stay and wait for MCR. If its not too bad I will go see Bleachers

Looking at the schedule again, I'm noticing that Riot/Roots have a few instances of set times overlapping.

On Friday, LBC goes from 1:25-2:25 with AVIVA starting at 2:30. On Sunday, Zola Jesus is on from 2:50-3:30 with Lunachicks supposedly starting at 3:25.

Either they goofed up the set times or we're gonna have a different stage set-up. Guessing it's the former...

LBC ends before AVIVA begins. But that Sunday one is a weird one. Maybe a typo? Because every other pairing has five minutes between them. If it was a different setup, you would think it would overlap more than once the whole weekend.

Oh fuck. You're right. My brain did a weird auto-correct there. But still. If they goofed up that set time, then either the Lunachicks are only playing for 35 minutes or the whole thing is off. That might be the case, actually. Though I was expecting them to get at least 45...

I'm also looking at the Rise set times too on the web site. They list every artist on that stage as only getting 30 minutes throughout the day up until Ice Cube. Definitely not the case, but really weird errors. And all on the same day. Hah.

My tickets have been updated and include QR codes now. So I have 2 weekend passes for sale for $200 each if anyone knows anybody who is after tickets.

Here's what I got worked out!

    -Friday-
    (12/12:45) Pale Waves/Sincere Engineer
    (1:25/2) Lucky Boys Confusion
    (2/2:45) Foxy Shazam
    (3:15/4) Anberlin
    (4/5) Jeff Rosenstock
    (5:45/6:45) The Wonder Years
This is where it gets tricky. Do I watch the end of TBS for the 100th time to make sure I get close to MCR, or risk seeing Trio for the 1000th time and be a half mile away? Remains to be seen.
    (8:30/10) My Chemical Romance

    -Saturday-
    (12/12:30) Skating Polly
    (12:30/1:15) Mannequin Pussy
(2/2:30) ???? I would literally watch any four from this block (Joy, Charlotte, Bully, Thick) so this will be a game-day decision
    (3/4) The Get Up Kids
    (4/4:45) Movements
    (5:15/6:15) The Menzingers
Also where's @MexicanGuitars we called this AOF conflict
    (6:20/7:20) Bad Religion
(7:30/8) Watch a little bit of GWAR with my friends
    (8:30/9:45) Yellowcard
    Alexisonfire late night!

    -Sunday-
    (12/12:30) The Bombpops
    (1/1:30) The Linda Lindas
    (2/2:30) Mom Jeans.
    (3:20/4:05) Less Than Jake
    (5/6) Jimmy Eat World
    (6:05/7:05) Sleater-Kinney
Then it's either Yeah Yeah Yeahs (never seen them, won't again, but would love to) or The Maine (same deal, they'll probably come around again though) and nestle in for TAI?
    (8:30/9:30) The Academy Is...

Bands I'm super bummed I'm missing:
-Hot Mulligan, Wargasm, Destory Boys, Bleachers (again)
-No Trigger, whoever I miss in the 2pm block, Madball, The Front Bottoms, The Story So Far, Sunny Day Real Estate
-Jawbox, Kid Sistr, Save Face, Midtown, NIN

Yeah that AOF/Menz conflict could have been way worse. Given I’ve seen the first six songs of OTIP I can prob get away with sticking around for AOF Longer before making my way over to Sculptors and Vandals and my namesake
