Fun fact: I haven't seen GWAR or AWK at Riot Fest since 2012. And I've never seen more than 2-3 Taking Back Sunday songs.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Less Than Jake playing Anthem is my number one most-wanted thing from Riot Fest.

 

Fun Fact: I’ve only seen GWAR once, which was the 2017 Warped Tour, and I’ve never seen Andrew W.K. live, but I did see him recording a report for Cartoon Network when I went to San Diego Comic Con 2011 (or maybe it was 2010? I don’t recall)

 

I back this. Hard! I've seen LTJ play a few albums over the years, but never Anthem, which is a record I absolutely love. I saw them no less than 5-6 times while they were touring that record so I'm pretty sure I've seen all the songs live at one point or another but... Still. Would be nice to see them all again!

I've seen GWAR twice. AWK I've seen a number of times over the years, and he always kills it...

But I think the most memorable was fall 2003. He played a show as part of CMJ. He was direct support for Joan Jett and Juliette Lewis and the Licks were on right before him. It was a whole lotta rock.

 

inside riot, of the 5 years ive gone, only seen each of the reoccurring 3, one time each. awk and gwar both in '15, and tbs in 19 (but split with bikini kill). outside of riot, awk 1 time, TBS a handful, and gwar 0 times. cant decide if getting drenched at a gwar show is on my bucket list or not.

Wait. I've seen GWAR three times. I forgot Bamboozle 2009. They played after Set Your Goals and the HorrorPops and it was amazing.

I saw a guy walking around the day before wearing a homemade t-shirt that said "Fuck you, I'm here for GWAR." Saw that same guy in the same shirt after GWAR's set. Drenched in GWAR goo. He looked so happy.

 

"GWAR goo" is something I'll never be able to unread.

Obviously these aren't mutually exclusive, but... NIN is a fair trade for LTJ.

Damn. This is all a real rollercoaster. REALLY interested to see what they do about NIN dropping.
