My ideal would be Smashing Pumpkins on Friday, Nine Inch Nails on Saturday, and RTJ on Sunday.

 

I believe that's accurate.. I'm 90% on Pumpkins Friday based on the little I know..

 

Here’s another option that riot fest regulars would probably prefer: MGK gets added, closes a stage on Friday or Saturday. One of either Bright Eyes or The Offspring ALSO GET ADDED, and that band “co headlines” Sunday night with Run the Jewels.

 

Pumpkins were set to play Friday, as they’re playing Sea.Hear.Now fest in Jersey Saturday (I think Dirty Heads are booked for that too). But S.H.N’s Insta has been inactive since January, and lots of people are speculating that it’s cancelled. So, really, Pumpkins could be Friday or Saturday

 

My thought feels more realistic given how crowded the top of the poster is at the moment, but what you put forward here would be way more my speed. The Offspring are pretty likely, I think.

 

Excited for @sam_might_say to eat their ticket.

I just realized Josh Freese has drummed for 27 bands on this year's Riot lineup... is he still with devo, I know Fred Armison played with them a few years back

 

Yep! He confirmed he’s playing with them at Riot too!

Which other bands has he played with? NIN, Sublime W/ Rome and Devo are the only ones I know off the top of my head

 

I think that's it... he was in A Perfect Circle with Paz from Pixies & James Iha... oh he did some stuff with Dirty Heads (never knew that).. and he did studio work for the Offspring if they get added

also, I just want to say I'm not very happy with this whole devo Wall of Death shit.. Mark Mothersbaugh (who turned 71 today) & Josh Freese are musical heroes of mine
