It could be. But it would be kind of odd to say the 13th if new tickets were going on-sale on the 12th.

I'm leaning towards tomorrow, but since some of the other pdfs weren't exactly accurate since they are probably just templates for when emails go out... who knows

I figured you where being serious but I didn’t know that’s why I asked. But I’m with you with it being tomorrow. Friday at the latest they might give it a day and make it the day after the 13th and make it the 14th

The link that’s posted on Reddit that went to the directory now links to the faq page of riot fest

Louder Than Life is announcing on Friday, though. The two line-ups probably won't overlap too much, but they both definitely occupy the same "rock festival" space.

I'm feeling like it'll be tomorrow afternoon.

Riot Fest has the edge in terms of press. Brooklyn Vegan, Spin, Rolling Stone, etc. will all post about Riot Fest's line-up over Louder Than Life unless LTL has a major artist (e.g., NIN). But still. It would make sense for both parties to stagger it out as best they can...

And, unless there's shit behind the scenes that still needs to be sorted (which there might be), there's no real reason to wait.

I just hope we get a tweet saying it's coming so we can all stop guessing and get back to arguing about who is or isn't a good fit.

This was posted to the Lolla sub, but looks like some act that is one of MGK's openers just posted this saying 'his next show will be lolla' so interesting that one opener is confirmed for riot, another opener spilled beans at being at lolla (even though they spelled it wrong, haha).

And i just checked locally here in STL, and the MGK date is 9/28 and does not have kennyhoopla on the bill but does have this guy Jxdn. so basically its a coinflip on of this tour gets routed through riot or lolla

Strong detective work. Would love to have been wrong and for MGK to be on Lolla instead... But there's a lot that could be going on here.

FWIW, according to LiveNation, KennyHoopla is on most of the MGK dates surrounding Riot Fest.

Lolla is set to happen ahead of Riot. In August. This opener could be playing Lolla without MGK. MGK could be on Lolla along with this particular opener but not KennyHoopla (Riot Fest had Kenny last year - he was probably locked into that well before this MGK tour was even an idea).

Thing is, I have no idea what those dates between the 9/15 Boston show and the 9/22 date could be if it's not Riot Fest. Could be a random radio festival or something but I kinda doubt it.

He (MGK) is speculated to be on Blue Ridge

Blue Ridge is September 9th-12th, I thought? MGK has dates almost that entire weekend (except for the 12th and he has a show on the 13th so that feels like a day off).

And that's before the gap in question.

I think somebody posted this before. But yeah, that basically means it's coming within the next two days.

EDIT: Where'd the sudden confidence about it definitely being tomorrow come from?

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Interestingly the jxdn specific tour poster does not have the same two blurred dates between 9/17-9/21.

I would say jxdn is on Lolla, and MGK is on Riot.

with louder than life being Friday and them usually not announcing anything on Saturdays that leaves tomorrow plus the whole ticket thing of may 13 2021. All signs point to tomorrow

Tomorrow or bust for the lineup! There I said it lol

Ah! Yeah, all the evidence points to tomorrow. For sure. My only hesitation about tomorrow is the lack of a tweet saying "It's coming..." But I guess that could very easily come at like, 8am tomorrow to set shit up for the afternoon.

I'd imagine they are going to do a bit more testing with the ticketing to be sure it works right and then drop the hammer. The last thing they want is an issue with ticketing or anything when they go live.

Wild that we got to witness all that getting set-up in "real time." Haha.

That being said... Definitely gonna keep an eye on the Internet tonight to see if any dummy news organizations post an article with the line-up early like sometimes happens with festivals.

I’m sure that’s why they made everything private so they can test it all out. They don’t need us internet sleuths and detectives fucking things up for them

Kennyhoopla is playing Summerfest and MGK isn't.. if that matters for anything (it probably doesn't)
