I really expected MCR at Riot and RATM at Lolla. I'm scared of RATM crowd at Riot if they do the festival at Douglas Park

It’s fake. The Festival Owl also confirmed it isn’t real.

 

I’m sure some of those dates are legit tho outside of the ones that have already been announced they said more dates will be coming going all the way into the election and my guess is they go the festival rout next year like they always do

 

The poster was literally made by some random person not affiliated with the band. They aren’t real unless officially confirmed by the band, which again, they won’t be because the tour poster is fake.

 

I know dude I know how tour announcements fucking work. you must always have to be right and in the know of everything don’t you? And are never wrong??? They could totally be playing riot and louder then life. And all those other dates could still happen regardless of if some random dude created it or not. I mean it was shared by the OFFICIAL RATM Instagram then deleted now why would they to that just to troll people? No I think they are better then that!!!

 

And alt press just posted a story about it 7 minutes ago so.....

 

Did you see the account post it? Photoshop does exist. I’m just saying that now two sources (and one, The Festive Owl), is almost always very legitimate) said it is fake.

 

No I was at work when it was posted but all the news outlets that picked up the story says it was posted by the official Instagram then deleted mins later and all the screen grabs make it look real cuz it has the followers and 3 posts unless your super amazing a photoshop and know what your doing it’s really hard to fake a 3 that small the account official only has 2 posts.

 

Guess we'll find out eventually whatever else RATM is doing!

 

Remember how batshit crazy the System set was in 2015? Now, imagine a Rage set at Riot. For liability reasons, they should pass.

 

What happened at the System set?

 

Crowd was an absolute shit show. If I remember correctly, it had rained the night before and it was a full on mud pit. Tons of people pushing and large amounts of the crowd were falling on top of each other. I think System had to stop at least twice to make sure everyone was up safely.

Well this is a lot more exciting than anything that happened during last year's speculation.

 

i figured the Louisville date gave away it was fake

besides, Riot's layout is way too small for a Ratm crowd

 

Just give me a RATM/SOAD tour and I'll be a happy man.

 

So someone I’m friends with on Facebook has someone who actually believes ratm is playing riot fest even tho the tour dates are fake. They are way too big of a band to play their first show in Chicago In 13 years at riot fest everyone and their mother would be in that crowd and it will be 10 times worse then System of a Down 2015 or Lolla 2007 when they had to stop countless times Pits going everywhere bond fires everywhere it was insane.they are a much better fit for Lolla with crowd size and stage lay out. It will be insane but I feel like security would have an easier job at Lolla over riot since they have been doing Lolla for 20 plus years now. I won’t believe anything I see or hear till I see it from an official source with credible info

 

Lolla is the logical choice and best fit for the type of crowd they bring in but who knows maybe rage is the out of left field band they person that puts on riot was talking about getting for next year. In time all of our questions will be answered

 

Plus next years tour if t stops in Chicago will be the first show in Chicago in 12 years so why not play Lolla.

honestly I think they could end up playing anywhere at this point whether it’s Lolla riot united center Allstate tweeter wrigley or soldier field

They should do a ton of shows so it isn't so insane.

and then Schubas

 

A stadium show in March/April and then Riot Fest would be a good way to negate some of these issues surely.
