This was my 2nd Riot and I have more fun than last year. I like that everybody I met were so nice! Definetly coming back for my 3rd Riot next year

ACTUALLY counting down from 92 was the funniest thing ever.

so I really proved it can be done. After standing, jumping, and moshing for 10 plus hours I made it out to the K Flay aftershow, well worth it. Now time to rest.

Did anyone see Gary Numan? That was my favorite act on Saturday

I took Monday and Tuesday off. I've barely moved today - only time I've left my apartment was to go to the door to get the pizza I ordered.

  9. Sore legs and sunburnt neck, but I generally feel good. I don’t think I went nearly as hard as most other people though.

Taking Monday off is a necessity. I didn't do it last year and really regretted it.

I've been trying to be active because I don't want to waste the day, but it is not going well.

Van Morrison and Willie Nelson just played here in Scranton on Friday. I could see either one being the old guy they book next year.

I definitely should not have survived as well as I did after the last MCS show. Shows for four nights including theirs ending at like 2 AM, 14 hour drive to Virginia that morning, then flew to Ireland on Wednesday. Have no idea how I did it without getting sick.

It's assumed that Bauhaus was going to be ???????, but Visa issues prevented them from making it over, so Run the Jewels was booked last minute in their place.

Also, to further confirm that, when I was looking through Smartpunk's vinyl tent on Saturday, they had some Bauhaus records in the Riot Fest section of their stock, so I'm guessing they knew ahead of time and threw them in there.

Enema Of The State turns 20 next year. With them supposedly playing next year I think that's highly likely.

I think the worst set of the weekend had to be Health because of all the sound and tech issues that eventually caused them to cut their set super short. They maybe got through 4 or 5 songs and cut a few others short. Had a couple times they just stopped playing. To their credit they didn’t complain and did the best they could, but you could tell they were understandably frustrated.

i would not be surprised if tom is back in blink in 2019, even if just for riot fest or a few festival appearances playing enema (they also have to make up at bunbury next year)

Just touched down back in Scotland absolutely burst, rest of the day to recover then back to work 2morrow. Made the first band each day and made it to a record for me, 6 pre/after shows, Direct Hit/Emo Night Thursday, Idles/Bren Kelly Friday, Pizza Party Saturday and Bouncing Souls Sunday. What a weekend but toiling today!

also, back at work today. as you can see here, i barely walk for my job since i work in an office setting. you can see my daily steps up until thursday, then how much it just completely spikes up for riot fest friday-sunday + a whole day in the city yesterday.

definitely should have taken today off too so i could catch up on sleep haha
