Sounds like people are way more exhausted this year. Was it the heat?

For me it was that I went all day yesterday. I wanted to see mom jeans and stayed through run the jewels.

I think we can safely say that Blink and Bauhaus will be headliners next year

  8. campeondeluniverso

    nah.

    can we get The Strokes?

Since it’s the 15th anniversary, I feel like Riot Fest is gonna go HARD next year. Blink, Bauhaus (if Peter Murphy doesn’t have issues) and one other big headliner sounds about right to me

Also, I expect lots of album plays

Anyone think Foo Fighters are too big?

Also would love to see Tyler, the Creator and Brockhampton play.

Might be the only time FOB does an anniversary show

Nothing has an important anniversary next year though. This year had some good ones but they’re so not into it.

Also I am on the same page about next year. They can’t let it go like this or I won’t be able to commit. If Bauhaus happens I’ll be there I’m sure but won’t be doing any presale.

I would really love The Promise Ring to happen. Still my number one want since I didn’t go in 2012.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Dude are you kidding me, so many good albums have 15th, 20th, 25th and 30th anniversaries next year.

Dookie, Enema Of The State, Betty, The Downward Spiral, Pretty Hate Machine, Doolittle, Stranger Than Fiction, Jar Of Flies, Bee Thousand, Without A Sound, Bakesale, Catalyst, Good News For People Who Love Bad News, Keep It Like A Secret, Let It Enfold You, Something To Write Home About, Through Being Cool, The Blue Album... the list goes on. There’s plenty of possibilities

Some of those have already been done though...

  20. Cat Power was so quiet. I met some friends at that stage and didn’t even realize they were playing until I was up to the sound booth.

    I meant for FOB, lol.

  22. Definitely expecting some 15 year anniversary album plays next year. Rise Against doing Siren Song seems the most obvious choice to me.

    Other things I’d like:

The Weakerthans. I know it won’t happen but a boy can dream.

Bob Dylan in the Merle Haggard/Jerry Lee Lewis/“guy you forget is still alive much less still touring” slot.

Rilo Kiley reunion, or at least Jenny Lewis.

Green Day is still my most wanted headliner.
