I’ve been thinking about this, I would assume some of the artists would still play in Chicago that weekend and it’s also my birthday weekend and I badly need a vacation so I’d still go out to Chicago! Also not missing Blink in Grand Rapids

 

For dude trying to keep tracking of who is playing when, The Frights are playing Saturday.

By the way, I looked up popular venues that usually have aftershows, and Double Door, Bottom Lounge, and Cobra Lounge have wide open schedules all three nights of the festival. Metro has that Emo Night aftershow on Saturday, and Concord has a Jay Rock show on Friday. House of Blues has shows all three days.

 

The promo around the city has really ramped up recently, which I don’t think they’d do if it was getting cancelled. Unless they’re waiting to see how many tickets they can sell in the final stretch.

I really truly can’t imagine either of the following two things

Alkaline Trio and Blink playing the same night

Alkaline Trio not doing an aftershow

 

two weeks from today bauhaus is ~reportedly~ headlining riot fest. maybe. but we don’t know yet.

Riot Fest sucks

 

Young the Giant is for sure Sunday. I got a press release from them a little bit ago, and the order of their festivals this weekend was listed Grandoozy, then Riot. They're playing Grandoozy Saturday, so it's probably listed in the order given.

 

Dropkick Murphys just put a twit where they said they play on the 14th

 

I believe the second wave will come out today, so Riot Fest will reward all the hard work we’ve put into figuring out when the fuck the second wave is gonna be revealed

 

Man the 2 side by side main stages on Friday have potential to be f’n loaded between blink, dropkick, flogging, bad Religion, sum 41 and maaybe even alk3

 

That's what I'm hoping!

The Early November confirmed via other dates they’re gonna play Saturday.

 

Are they confirmed as part of the 2nd wave?

Lol they’re literally in Detroit on Friday and St Louis on Sunday with The Early November

If anyone knows what day they’re playing it’s them

 

Unless it turns out TEN/TDS aren't on the second wave, I guess Save Face technically could be any day

 

I remember they tweeted that they’ll be missing a show on the tour because of Riot Fest, but I cant find it anymore. I think TEN and TDS wont be at Riot
