I got NFG tickets!

 

How much was TBS just curious?

I considered NFG, but I think I'll be fine just seeing them at the fest. It's tempting, though.

 

The only reason I did it is because it's my birthday at midnight so that sounds like a fun way to bring it in haha

Looks like there's a screening of Don't Break Down: A Film About Jawbreaker on Thursday night at Logan Theater. Not technically part of the festival, but I'm sure plenty of festival-goers will be going (obviously this screening is happening because the band is playing that weekend, hah). 8:30 is sold out, but there's tickets available for 10:30.

 

Got tickets for the NFG/Bayside after show. Can't wait!!

 

Saw Lemmy at Riot Fest 2015 just a few months (maybe even weeks) before he died. What a fucking blast.

 

Update: Taking Back Sunday, Buzzcocks, Dino Jr/Built to Spill, Ataris/Queers and Hot Water Music aftershows are all sold out.

For anyone in Chicago the night before Riot Fest, my band Pelafina is playing a pre-show at Burlington! Two other rad Chicago bands, Retirement Party and Bloodsport: The Movie The Band, are playing as well, and Jim Suptic (Get Up Kids) and Josh Berwanger (The Anniversary) are DJing.

That Burlington party kicked ass last year. Might stop by even though I'm not going to the fest.

 

Was looking at the schedule again this morning... Did they bump the Paramore start time up by 15 minutes, or am I remembering wrong?

 

Yeah they definitely did. I have a screenshot on my phone of the schedule when it first came out and it has paramore 8:15-9:15. I like the 15 min bump up, gives me more time to get to bottom lounge for TBS :)

 

Yeah looks like they did. I also noticed GBH got moved up from 2:45 to 12:55 on Saturday.

They def did - PRO: I'll be able to catch more of Jawbreaker. CON: Probably gonna have to just skip Prophets of Rage.

Are they posting updates anywhere where they say the changes they're making? Curious what else has changed so far.
