every thought is probably my favorite mwY song tho

 

That song is toward the bottom of my personal list, but contains one of my favorite lyrics:

"When they swear their love is real, they mean, 'I like the way you make me feel'"

 

love the riff in that song and the hebrew chant bridge

its brilliant

 

Every Thought is possibly my least favourite mwY song.

 

Spyki but you also dont like Watermelon Ascot or more egregiously, Sun and the Moon

which shatters my brain, like a bullet thru a bottle

I like those two, they're just clear least favourites on those albums. I don't really like Every Thought. I think the only other song I don't like is Allah Allah Allah.

Love 'em all except the songs on the EP's before [A->B] Life.

 

I listened to AB last week

I still love that album.

 

Oh yeah, I don't really count those.

 

I don't think they've released a bad song or even one that I don't care for from that album on.

 

Arabic, fwiw. Think Rainbow Signs is the only track that has Hebrew.

Id ignorantly assumed that all the non english passages scattered around their doscog were Hebrew

untitled lp isn't here so i threw a vote to ten stories

 

Nah, it's pretty much all Arabic. "Dryness and the Rain" Every Thought" - "Rainbow Signs" actually has both Hebrew and Arabic. "Dirty Air" has French.

Don't remember hearing any on the Appendix, but I'm not super intimate with it so could just not be remembering.

 

Every time I hear TS I come away liking it a ton more even still. I think its massively underrated.

 

And here I thought we had polar opposite tastes lol the first 2 tracks on IACIAF are my least favorite mwY songs I think

 

Never been a big fan of Grist for the Malady Mill. It's fine. Not bad. Definitely not a song I'd include if I were gonna show someone this band.

 

A--B Life is mostly French from what I remember

 

Fox, Crow, Cookie is easily my favourite on that album and pretty high in general so we're still a little different, lol.

 

Oh yeah, "Bullet to Binary" has that French bit. Totally spaced on that.

 

OK Im not fucking around anymore. its not easy to rank a discog this strong. and its not easy to rank Crazy!. Id previously split it in half to be able to rank it because some of it is so incredibly strong, its highs are discog highs.

So I wanna try out something new. With [Untitled] being a year old next week, where do you see yourself placing it? Would you rank it as your favorite mwY album?

 

[Untitled] won't unseat Brother, Sister (which turned 13 yesterday!), but think it's definitely in the Tier 1 of mewithoutYou albums for me (along with B,S and Ten Stories).
