Baby as part of Savannah is easily better but I can't pick it on it's own. I'm not a fan of a lot of the splits on the album. I think Oasis is the only one I still have on as it's own interlude.

 

Well at least the interludes make the voting easier at the outset.

The hardest choice here is between This is the End and Candlelight. Love both of those songs!

Went for a couple of the intro/outros which I hope people won't criticise me for - it's just when I think of the songs those bits are often the things that get stuck in my head.

I Don't Need a Soul and Forget and Not Slow Down are probably my two favourite songs on the album, sad they're against each other in round one.

That first matchup was absolutely brutal

 

Personal opinion: This Is the End should not beat Candlelight because it's not even a complete song. And Candlelight is absolute bliss. But y'all do y'all.

• Title track I guess. Both are really good. This is hard.

• Sahara. I have loved this track since day one. Oasis is beautiful but can't go against one of my favorites on the record

• Savannah. This is one of my all time favorite Rk songs easily

• Baby. I really don't know again tbh

Flare vs. Part of It

• Part of It. That intro is so good wow

This Is the End vs. Candlelight

• This Is The End. I mean I love Candlelight, but we are talking about the first half of one of the best album closers of all time.

 

One could argue all the songs that connect with the interludes are not complete songs in a similar way. So, that logic does not work with this album.

I won't say which I'm rooting for, but anyone who saw me post in the AP days knows which I prefer.

So the best song on the album is out in round one, this is some bullshit. We were doing so well for the first two albums as well.

 

Yeah, I think in some ways it indicates what a good album this is... it seems as though there are several tracks that really appeal to different people. It will be fascinating to see where we end (and probably infuriating moments along the way!)
