Yeah that isn't happening, but a slightly deluxe mmhmm vinyl repress is coming in November to mark the 20 years.

2 sea world shows and a slightly deluxe vinyl for the 20 year anniversary of their most successful album is about as rk as it gets lol

It really is haha. I couldn’t come up with a better descriptor for it than “slightly” lol. You’ll see what I mean when it drops.

It's it just mmhmm plus apathetic EP?

If it includes Apathetic Way to Be (the song) I think the previous vinyl pressings already did. Is it new cover art?

    Kinda. Remastered too.

Wasn’t it remastered for mmhmm10? Is this another remaster?

I'm honestly surprised they don't do more one off shows, or like 4-5 show short tours. I feel like they'd move a lot of merch and sellout most places they came through.

When I saw them at a sold out show in Columbus they didn’t have any merch lol

They didn’t seem to have any merch when I saw them at Four Chord around that same time. Weird.

They’ve been weird like that for years though. Post FANSD there’s been almost no promotion of any kind, even when they’ve released music, and very little effort seems to be put into anything other than the actual music itself. I’m not saying that as a criticism, just as an observation, that the way they have managed/promoted the band has been very odd for a long time lol.

yeah. I was looking forward to getting a new Rk shirt and got bummed.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

And when they do have merch, a lot of the time, it's a little lame and just "relient k" in Times New Roman hahah. Very "on brand" for their type of silliness, but as a freelance graphic designer mostly working in the music space, it drives me kind of nuts. Bucket list work with this band, for me.

Mmhmm inspired DRV pedal from Hoopes but more importantly a mention of possibly some shows and new music

  18. I don't need another DRV but I sure do love how that one looks.

I was an absolute wreck 15 years ago after a friend “break up.” That album dropped at the exact right time and really healed a lot in me.

I remember not loving FANSD at first because I was wanting more of the polished pop rock/punk sounds of previous albums, but this has probably grown to be my favourite record of theirs.
The organic sound paired with some of the most emotionally deep lyrics they've ever written (especially when you know the background context) is just perfect

I remember being bummed the drums didn’t sound as “direct” in the mix, a complaint I literally never think about anymore.
