I super love this and it makes me so happy.

 

I find myself having a different one stuck in my head at all times. Earlier it was God but right now it's Local Construction.

Yesterday is was Man all day and I'm always intermittently chanting O-H-I-O.

It's never done.

 

Am really enjoying the album and am looking forward to my vinyl copy arriving. Though I can't imagine why no one has mentioned the song 'Heartache'. Phenomenal song! Relient K can sure write a closing track!

 

Heartache is great but it's a little overshadowed for me. It's probably my least favorite closer since Jefferson Aeroplane.

 

Jefferson Aeroplane is an all time favorite RK song for me. Do you not like the song? Or not like it as a closer?

 

I think it's a great song and a great closer, one of my favourites on Two Lefts. I just think every closer since has been better.

I remember the copy of MMHMM that I listened to for years was mis-ordered and has "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" last which didn't really work well. "When I Go Down" was a better choice, though I don't usually like it when albums end on such a somber note. "This Is the End (If You Want It)" is near perfection though.

I think Cat and Mrs. Hippo are some of the worst songs on the album.

 

I love the opener and Mrs Hippo are those hot takes if so sorry

Local Construction is still my favorite I think. I just love the chorus so much

 

I'm waiting for my vinyl to arrive to listen to it more in higher quality, but I've gone back to Pandora to listen to Elephant Parade a handful of times. That and Runnin' were two standouts to me on my first few listens.

 

Ending on somber notes is my favvv. When I Go Down is easily my favourite songs on Mmhmm and at least in their top 10 for me, This is the End (If You Want It) is probably my second favourite on FANSD and up there with WIGD. Deathbed is my favourite song by them. So yeah JA and Heartache are great, no disrespect go them but they're just not on that level for me.

 

Those two, Bummin and Prodigal are my least favourites but compared to songs like Gloria I'm very ok with them, haha.

 

When I Go Down is phenomenal. Love that song.

 

Yeah, it's wonderful. When those little bells come in at the end mmmmm.

 

the elephant song is pretty bad too

 

UPS says my vinyl will arrive tonight! Did not expect it THAT soon. Hell yes

 

I don't mind it, it's growing on me, but it doesn't really fit on the album. Would be a lot more cohesive I think without Mrs. Hippo and Elephants

 

I don't think it's bad, especially not in comparison to what was on CL. I think it's super interesting and fun, and I love how much it changes throughout. It's probably their most interesting song, structurally. I just don't care for it in the context of the album.

 

I think Gloria isn't even the worst song on that album. Can't Complain is.
