This is great. Definitely in the A24 bag of two hours of an irredeemably shitty character that continues to dig an already deep hole even deeper. Simon Rex is amazing. Just a natural talent.

I know this is probably a joke but as a Jew I actually am probably doing a Licorice Pizza/Red Rocket double feature on Christmas Eve

 

Also Jewish and will probably be watching licorice pizza on Christmas haha

 

If people have problem with the age gap in Licorice Pizza, they need to stay far far away from this one lol

This was fun, but definitely not as good as Starlet.

My ranking would be TFP, Starlet, Red Rocket, Tangerine, but at the end of the day no one can make a movie like Sean Baker. And it's a shame that Simon Rex will probably be overlooked at awards shows

 

I had no idea this was out. Would have made it a double feature with Licorice Pizza for the long drive.

Don’t know if they do it internationally, but I would assume in a week or two they’ll do their A24 at Home screening of this that they’ve done with most of their movies.

 

This was great. Suzanna Son should be a star.
