Anything Bryan Sammis puts out I am into. I can’t get enough of his aesthetic. Not really sure how to RIYL since it’s things like “driving at night” or “winter” for me. Kinda emo. Kinda pop. Kinda alt. Kinda outrun. His other band is La Bouquet and he used to be in the neighborhood who I know little to nothing about. The new Blind Justice record is the best HC record I've heard this year.

 

I finally started listening to Dirty Computer by Janelle Monae and it sounded awesome but then my dad called and is now ranting about how great it is to use Excel to schedule your work tasks and I'm so pissed off right now lol

Been listening to alot of Say Anything, getting ready for the new record.

 

The new thrice album is great. Have to say that The new The Dirty Nil album master Volume is unreal though. I love it!

 

I’m guilty of enjoying the “The Faim” EP a little too much. I’ve listened through it like 10 times while working the past few days.

 

Because a couple of my friends kept playing it on beatmania IIDX when we down to Round One in Middletown, NY and played it in my car on the way down, I've had this stuck in my head.

 

Song slaps super fucking hard.

 

Currently listening to the new Moonrakers album “Lanterns” - never heard of them before this but Apple Music suggested it. Kind of like NOFX meets The Lawrence Arms.

 

Nick Drake, La Dispute, Mac Demarco... I'm all over the place.
