Just watched the first episode and liked it.

you’ll never guess which scene band has a song play over the end credits

 

Paul Thomas Anderson was just here, do you think his lunch ran a half an hour too long


the only thing is Step Right Up feels more 90s than early 2000s, Malcolm In The Middle and Grounded For Life were more grounded

For a comedy show about a comedy show trying to push the limits of TV, this feels kind of safe and conventional by today's streaming comedy standards. Still dig it though.

 

I'll check this out but really with material like this it would be a good move to go full 30 Rock

 

I kind of love this so far

 

Yeah this is actually really funny. Helps that Steven Levitan is a tv veteran that most likely assembled a highly experienced sitcom writers room.

Episode 3 in particular is fucking hilarious

Really funny episode this week!

 

We have one more until we’re caught up and while we’re enjoying it we feel like something is missing. It’s good but could be great.

 

I love this. Loved how the joke about HR wasn’t making HR the joke and instead was about Zack not knowing if he had used his chance or not

 

Two episodes in and I’m pretty into this!
