I was talking relationships with friends the other day and one of them called me a man-hater and it's so annoying. I think there is a lot that goes into the socialization of men and patriarchy and I am critical of that, but I also think it's entirely possible to try to subvert it and unlearn it and be a good person. I guess it bugs me how simplified that makes it seem. It's easier i guess for them to say I just hate men. I have a hard time explaining how I hate what a lot of men are socialized to be, but I don't hate like... All individual men. Anyway, it annoyed me.

 

I downloaded the dating apps again and I forgot how much they hurt my soul.

I’m going to get stupidly sappy right now but I’m still in pretty much disbelief and how well things have gone this week. We’ve pretty much seen each other every day, and it’s just been so refreshing. I usually take forever to open up and feel comfortable with someone but this has been like completely different. It just feels completely natural and it’s just really damn nice haha. We literally had Mexican food then laid around listening to Copeland and talked about so much stuff.
