There's this girl that I've known for a long time who I find really cute and I've told her that before and she told me she could never be with me to any capacity because I'm not a Christian. Maybe I'm reading into nothing but she seriously calls me every time she's drunk. I just woke up to her drunk FaceTimeing me and chatted for like 20 minutes. I'm like her go-to drunk call which is weird I guess.....or it's not I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Might be reading too much into it. I tend to find that when something will not or cannot happen, people can behave quite differently compared to if it's an actual possibility.

So, in this example, this lady might well feel comfortable calling you up and talking drunken nonsense at you, because she's made it clear you're not holy enough for her. So, to her at least, she potentially feels like her actions cannot be read with any hidden intent, because you don't like Jesus.

But, the chances are, that someone who maybe would like something to happen or who feels like maybe you would, would not make repeated calls like that, as it could maybe appear that they were into you in some capacity.

Having explained all that, I don't think it's the best example of what I'm trying to explain.

ive been really nice and civil with my ex even though i have no reason to be cause he lied and cheated etc etc. we still talked, hang out on occasions and he told me he wanted to mend things with us, get back together, and be better in general. the usual stuff. long story short, i told him like last week that ETID was playing here (they're one of his favorite bands) and i was gonna go. he tells me he can't because he has a work thing. okay, nothing to it. he can't go. I pull up to the parking lot for the show and guess who's dumb stupid car i see immediately?? HIS! i park right next to him right?? i text him "did you come to TBS and ETID show?" he responds: "did you? I have an interview tomorrow" and i say "oh dear, im parked right next to you" and he texts me "youre not going to like who i am here with. i dont want any trouble, just came for the music" lol after you told me who had been cutting off ties with these girls and not speaking to them and im suppose to expect you texted them outta the blue to go see ETID?? nah thats bullshit youve been friends/more than friends this whole time even though you told you weren't. i became unhinged, which is really unusual for me cause im a really understanding and i dont blow things up too often but i just got so mad i told him to fuck himself and he texts me a whole lot and i dont respond. he text me late last night and i tell him to not talk, text or hang out with me anymore. unfortunately @ChaseTx was there to witness the whole thing at the show too lol. ive been too nice and understanding to a person for too long towards someone who is a horrible person. i can't do it anymore, its draining and its not fair.

Yeah, I feel like this is pretty much it. I guess it's odd to me because I know that when I'm drunk, the girls that I call or text are the ones that I'm at least into physically, but alas, everyone is different.

At the end of the night we were hanging out next to her car and I ended up saying fuck it and asking her "i'm really awkward about goodbyes, so I have no idea what your goodbye procedure is, so is a hug okay?" and she laughed

I think it's safe to assume a hug is okay after a second date. Girls have thought I was uninterested when not kissing them goodbye on the 1st date. I guess everyone is different though.
