Well the last girl that was seriously interested in me was an alcoholic so all this conversation about getting drunk is helping me cope lol

I'm interested in a girl I've been friends with for a year and a half. We've hung out on friend-dates a few times, the last time being three weeks ago. Since then, she hasn't been responding to my messages. This has been going on and off for a while now. I want to believe that she's sincere when she says she's just so busy with her jobs that she forgets to respond. She tells me about work and she's often miserable, so this is the most likely case. Of course, the insecure fourteen-year-old in me is scared that she's doing it on purpose because she's not into me. But if she's not doing it on purpose, that means she doesn't think of me often enough to remember to respond, so therefore, she's not into me? I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. I really, really like her. But how do I navigate this situation? I feel like if I confront her about it more directly, it would only make things worse.

I would never use tinder. Guys were bad enough on pof and okc in my area. A friend of mine thinks I should find a guy and do a one night stand because she thinks it will be good for me. No it wouldn't. I also told her I'm not in to the one night stands. Never have been. This is the same friend who tries to set me up with guys she thinks are my type but are completely opposite of my type.

I suppose I could go back to the swinger's club. People know me there, but it is also a place I shared with my former partner. The other contexts in which I might have a one night stand are terrible.

Right. She says she wants me to be happy, and I understand. But it's kinda depressing thinking whenever she says "i know someone who's great for you" and when I meet them they're not anything I want in a mate. I'm sure they'll be great for someone else, but not for me.

 

My bff introduced me to my bfs. Worked out that way cause she's very social and outgoing and popular and I'm... not lol. I didn't like it tho. I'm private and like to keep groups of people in my life separate. I don't like worlds colliding and sometimes my bfs would go to her for advice or to vent and it'd irritate me. So csb short, I wouldn't do it again lol

But since I only leave my house for work, family, or running errands I don't think I'll be meeting anyone on my own any time soon.
