Question about tinder. If I download now, in baltimore, when I go to Orlando this weekend will I see Orlando people or Baltimore?

And Tinder will update to your new location automatically. Or at least should. If it doesn't do it on its own just go to settings and change your current location.

 

the default setting is to show you everyone in a 50 mile radius at your current location. when i travel i'll change it to around ~5-15 miles to get people who are gonna be more likely to meet up at a nearby bar or something

soooo after allllll the trials and tribulations i'm finally leaving to begin my life with my woman settled down in one spot for good now. 6 years in the waiting, so ready and oddly..... not nervous at all. she called me out about how am I so calm right now and I was like shit, idk I just always wanted this so its more a relief than anything after all the headaches lol.

all jokes aside I'm really happy and super excited to be with the woman I knew I had to even just get to be my friend the first time I seen her in 2010 (knowing damn well I ain't just want a friend lol) cus just an intense magnetism and sense of "i don't know you but somehow I feel I do and that I understand you," out the gate and it was mutual. went from first talking to falling in love within 2 weeks and rest been tons of love and lots of highs and lows that everyone I know is like "no idea how you go through all that for one person man." and just dealing with that feeling by saying and knowing (fueled by hope) it'll pay off. definitely had it's defeating moments but it never won. and now having it finally pay off though...

I'm letting these dating apps discourage me hard today. I started talking to this one person on there and she seems really awesome, but then I feel like she doesn't want to really talk and doesn't seem responsive to me trying to have a conversation so I don't know.

 

If it helps, the girl I went on a great date with last weekend wasn't much of a conversationalist in text.

That's good to hear. I'm nervous about suggesting an actual date, we've just talked about how we've actually met once before through one of my friends. She hasn't responded back in a while now so I dunno.

98% of all interactions on dating sites suck. But that lucky 2% -- even if it doesn't work out long term -- are what make them worth it if that's the route you want to go. But that's life, really. A lot of it can be a bunch of bullshit but the good stuff is fantastic. Keep trudging, man.

 

I'm about to have 5 days without any matches and thank goodness im not even concerned about it at all.

 

I've had a lot of times where I hold off on asking a girl out for a date, drag out talking, and then when we finally start talking about meeting I totally ghost em via text.

Figure if I'm not super interested or excited about meeting up, or if the conversation lags about the topic (where do you wanna go? Doesn't matter where do YOU wanna go? Have a favorite restaurant? Nah. How does this place sound? I don't know, sure. How about this place? Doesn't matter to me!) then it will be a waste of time / money anyway. Gone out on enough bad dates that it's time to be choosy and save some cash / time. Extensive veto process!

 

Bring ghosted is the worst and I hate that it seems to be the most common way of letting people down

Just be honest and get it over with instead of leaving the other person waiting for a response that won't come
