I feel you there. I work 40+ a week and we rotate so the same person doesn't have to work the shit shift all the time. Sometimes I work 3am-1pm and some days it's normal day shift or normal night shift. I think it has a lot to do with why I'm single. I don't have time for someone to yank me around but also I'm a workoholic.

 

Last time I played I was dunking and blocking on mofos.

They were kids and the goal was like 6ft tall.

 

I don't date rn partly cause of introvertedness partly cause of work partly cause here everyone is a conservative repub. Also men are just exhausting sometimes. Even the ones who appear cool and like align with feminist ideals or act like they respect boundaries or something always end up showing themselves. They all have this arrogant man quality idek how to describe it and they often talk down to me and I'm like naw byeeeee


I also attract men with mother issues who want me to fill that role in their life and I'm like nooope bye^2

 

I wish I was earning enough money for it to be responsible for me to date. Ramen and spam do not make a great first impression.

 

I'm still in the "learning how to cook" process

 

The dating process has always kinda repelled me. And I've never had interest in hookups or casual stuff. So falling in love with my best friend was really my only shot.

 

I've been single for like five years and I'm just here chilling playing video games and being a dumb dumb.

I've tried to talk to some girls but they've all been big failures.

 

People don't always get my humor which prob scares them away.

I think you'd like my friend - she attracts the craziest people and also just ends up in these bizarre, absurd situations all the time. She fell asleep in the drive thru at Taco Bell - thats my fav story about her, not that its particually related.

 

I was single for years before I started talking to my boyfriend and we were flirting / getting to know each other for a year before he asked me out. I didn't want to be with anyone after leaving my abusive boyfriend. I spent years learning about myself, had a few flings with girls and accepted I'm bisexual. I'm glad I was single for so long. I needed that time to recover and find myself again

 

I've forgotten how to flirt.

 

I briefly mentioned it before but I'm kinda been texting this guy. Im afraid he'll turn out to be a jerk. Idk how to tell early on and if they're "signs" to be like okay stop.

 

Today is the day me and my fiancee "Made it official" 6 years ago. Lot's of highs and lows, years of not speaking, came back stronger than ever when we did. Never had a bond with anyone like her, including "Best friends." Just one of those things that "Your heart and soul knew they were the missing piece from day one." It's her & my Grandpa who always meant most... and life made sure to bring her in right before he was diagnosed with the cancer that ultimately took him. Life made sure to take her away right before he died. Few years of life humbling me and make me find out who & what the fuck I am, at least identify my issues to work on em, etc. (same with her). Through all that, through all the things we went through both together and in the window we didn't see each other for awhile - we came back stronger than ever. And in turn that really taught me how to deep that much deeper into myself to be able to pull myself through the things I need to cus our relationship ALWAYS seems to pull through... and well... I'm still here so I'm not dead yet either lol. Don't mean to make light of that, probably the most important lesson I ever learned.

I love my girlfriend so incredibly much. Last night we had a valentine's day dinner (we didn't want to wait until the actual day) and made some homemade garlic bread and spaghetti sauce. We spent a lot of time talking about music, and reflecting on our time together. We've been together for 2 and a half years. We were talking about stuff like how we first met, the first time I told her I love her, how we started dating, stuff I haven't talked or even thought about really for a long time. And damn, I am just so lucky. She is the best friend and partner I could ever ask for or dream of. I know I want to spend every day of my life with her, and experience everything with her. It's hard for me to get scared about the future when I think of it with her, and I have clinical anxiety and am scared of most things. I just can hardly stand how much I love this girl and I can't wait for... well, everything. I'm such a sap.

 

How to Flirt

 

I'm not good at any of those things. I'm a lost cause.

 

I feel like I'm accidentally flirty/thirsty when my awkward ass is trying to be friendly, I'm nice not friendly there's a difference

 

my friend says his pickup line that works all the time is:

hey girl you looking good. Wanna go on a coffee date with me?

and I do the thinking face emoji because I don't believe him at all.

 

As long as you don't say anything creepy you should be good even if you seem thirsty/awkward.

Them: "Hey, my name's ____."
Me: "I'm good thanks for asking."
