I have plans with the high school ex i talked about a page or so back to get vegan pizza.

My girl decided to spend the day having a complex about how since I deal with depression and (unfortunately) live in a toxic environment I'm not always available cus I'm just trying to survive within that. I always do my best to be there for her as well but she finally got tired of it maybe being more 70/30 lately than 50/50 cus of the holidays. She presumed I was getting comfortable and really ended up just playing herself cus now after the whole day wasted hearing about how she wishes she had it bad as me so I cared as much (Which is infuriating and ridiculous) she's apologizing up and down and tbh I don't wanna hear any of it rn.
I want the rest of my NYE to go off without the stupid nonsense and maybe we can talk after a night's rest.

 

my relationship w/my ex is starting to feel like a dream and that makes me sad

 

I met someone really, really awesome tonight and she gave me her number, so I'm pretty happy. I don't even know how to handle something like this haha, but I hope something comes of it. Tonight ruled

met up with a girl at bar tonight who told me afterward she wanted to kiss me at midnight but didn't so that's cool. It prob won't go anywhere but it's nice to be out meeting people again

 

I don't know how this works I don't know when I should text this girl, I'm just gonna overthink everything

I'm the "keep her guessing" camp. At least a few days, imo. Most guys text right away, stand out a bit. I mean I should know this stuff....I DID get my heartbroken recently and have ZERO game so...yeah...listen to me

Text whenever you want to. The three day rule is bullshit. We're all adults, we can act like them when we're actually interested in getting to know someone. Games are dumb.

 

I ended up texting her today and we talked for a little bit. She went to bed early since she works tomorrow but she told me to message her again tomorrow so that's a decent sign!

 

One of the many awesome things about my relationship is never having played games or been anything but honest. Even when we were friends first. It's a great way to live if you can swing it

 

Yeah, this is all pretty new to me. Never really met/talked to someone going through the whole process. It was always just having a mutual friend and hanging out with them a bunch.

 

I think the high school ex I met up with is much more in to me than I am in to her. She kept talking about "this time around" and I thought she was talking about the current moment we were hanging out together but it's starting to seem like she expects this to turn into another relationship.

 

My girl been REALLY worked up about having a big falling out with her best friend/sister/damn near wife type friend and I been here having to be the man for her through this and I'm just watching/dealing and I feel like I've aged 30 years in a week lol. I've lost a lot of good friends/"brother" types but Wow... next level lol.

Glad to be here for her, doing my best, but I'm so exhausted lol.

 

This is super interesting to me. Is there still chemistry? How did you wind up talking again?

 

I mean, we went and got pizza at 8pm, and then went back to my place and watched rick and morty and then black mirror until 5am, sex until 7, fell asleep, woke back up at 9, more sex until noon, and then she left at 2pm. So....not really haha. I originally thought we were going to grab pizza and just catch up and call it a night, but the conversation was good and I was telling her about black mirror so we decided to go watch it and it went from there.

I drunk texted her last weekend saying I liked her photos she's been taking lately (she's was a photography major) and she said she had thought about texting me that same night but decided against it so we both thought it was too serendipitous to not meet up at that point.

 

Yeah man, just text when you feel like you have something to say or when you want to talk! Never overthink that. "rules" about this are petty and childish. Unless they explicitly say they want some time or something, I don't think that matters.

The only rules there should be are the following:
- be honest
- be understanding
- be respectful
- in text: think before you hit send

 

need to learn the last one just for casual conversations because I am awful at that.

 

I always end up overthinking every text I send haha.

 

I overthink and send these big long texts and then they send like a two word response haha

 

Girl I've been kinda seeing is still really really hung up on her ex and I know at this time there's nothing I can do about it and should stop pursuing her romantically, but I'm also really into this girl and dating sucks so much, like dating is the absolute worst.
