I envy people happy in relationships. I suck at relationships and nothing ever really lasts. Maybe I just choose the wrong partner? Now days and as you grow older it seems to become more difficult to find someone who is willing to accept all your flaws and give you a chance if you're a mess. You get left out in the cold if you don't "act" a certain way. The last guy I was seeing I was giving a chance to only for him to jump to conclusions, create a false scenario and stop things. Not that I'm bothered by it, because it doesn't bother me that we're not together, I just hate his poor attitude towards me (because I didn't do anything except for have major stress that brought me in to a depression), and how he went about things showed me something that I cannot put into words right now. He wasn't right for me anyway based off the kind of person he was showing me he was (mainly with things he's said to me), but I didn't want to discard that and not give him a chance to prove himself right for me. I don't even know why I'm posting this right now.

Hell if I know. She doesn't have a very good record when it comes to this shit. I'm scared he asked her to distract from the fact that he cheated. She said he didn't but he's not going to admit to that. She wants to be married so badly and that 100% clouds her judgement every single time.

 

Hm. I was invited to a wedding by a sex partner. I don't think I'm going to do it.

I think that the fear of loss for the person who was cheated on and the fear of change for the person who did the cheating is transmuted into a rapid recommitment as means of reasserting control. It doesn't get rid of the internal contradictions that lead to the original issues, it just displaces them. Their engagement will fall through, once those dynamics reassert themselves.

 

I hope that during the time they're engaged she will figure out if it's the right thing to do. I don't want her to do a rush wedding or something and then have to go through a divorce. Better to happen beforehand.

 

I cannot with my friend constantly freaking about her weird flirtation/relationship thing. she has a meltdown after every text he sends. What does it mean?? SOMETIMES IT JUST MEANS WHAT IT SAYS. they're both insecure and try to save face when they're too vulnerable and they both freak out over nothing and it's all melodramatic unnecessary immature weirdness. she needs some chill. it's hard cause she's a romantic, fairytale ideal kinda person that jumps in and shuts off her brain, and I'm the opposite so I'm about to just send her carly rae jepsen's Boy Problems and call it a day.

 

Usually, it doesn't end well, because the recommitment process requires a complete disavowal of inward analysis. But, I hope it works out for your friend. I may just be a pessimist.

my bff's bfs always love me which is funny because I always outwardly dislike them. But they're always losers who don't trust her and fear cheating and I'm the most boring person on the planet so they're like "oh you're going to vegas with Kiana? Oh okay have fun bye" cause they know we're gonna like eat candy and play scrabble all night or something lol

 

all my friends significant others are either the coolest people out or are so unwilling to get to know their spouses best friends it drives a wedge between the friendships or their relationship lol. there's no middle ground seemingly lol.

 

The first time I met him he said something akin to get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich. I called him on it and he's been a dick towards me ever since.

 

im always blown away by how blatantly shitty some of the men my women friend's manage to allow into their life really are. like everytime we talk you're so cool/sweet/got your head on straight, like how did you...........

Girls birthday today, she works till 6am but then is off all day.

Gave her my "Token of my love" gifts (A notebook of doodles/writings/thoughts of/regarding her I purposely kept adding too over time for a gift) and a poem I wrote her. I'm always better at creating gifts than buying lol.

She seemed to really enjoy em both, "made her night better" she says "since she is stuck working till 6." Gunna let her come home and get rest before we go out for a dinner later and I got her some jewelry as the flash/shiny gift lmao. I'll give her that at dinner.

 

im tryna get married before im 30 tbh. and have a kid shortly after. not tryna be an old ass dad

 

I want to be married before 30 too, but with the way things have been going for me and the lack of eligible bachelors in my town, I don't see it happening.

 

I'm not putting a time table on anything though I'd like it to be asap. Not marriage necessarily, just a long term partner. Not interested in anything else really. Kids aren't on the agenda at all, I'll just have a shit load of animals.

 

I wanna have my own apartment

 

I'm ready to get married and cut my bills in half

 

That's definitely the approach to getting someone to contribute!
