Dear Men, It's Time We Had A Conversation

 

My date tonight is cancelled! She said she forgot about an appointment and apologized for it, so I shrugged it off and sort of put it on her to reschedule. Way to add to my anxiety pal!

 

I officially have a girlfriend now and it's v awesome, tbh. After being in a toxic relationship for years I never thought I'd be able to enjoy this again. Have faith y'all!

happened to me last week and we both went on our respective vacations. she texted me when she got back and again today, but no mention of getting together yet. i really don't wanna be pushy and weird about it so i'm just gonna try to 'be cool' and let her bring it up.

 

We haven't been texting much between dates so I'm not sure if that's gonna happen. I said something like "oh well we can reschedule" and she just said "of course!" So I dunno, we'll see.

 

Too bad i can't just be like "do you really want to reschedule, or"

 

I don't know if this will make you feel better but I forget appointments a lot. Most of the time I don't know until my datebook alarm thing goes off the morning of.

I don't really ask can you reschedule, I ask when are you available next?, then the answer either idk or whatever the date they provide.

 

Yeah I don't necessarily doubt the reason, just kinda conditioned to expect disappointment I guess

I could be wrong but I feel like asking straight up of someone's lost interest is kind of a deal breaker, especially if they just cancelled due to a work commitment

 

A deal breaker as in, she'll lose interest if you ask straight up?
