I have my life together in terms of decent job and living on my own but not in terms of like mental health or living in a decent town. Close enough tho!

 

I don't really subscribe to the "league" idea. But, I also do not have my shit together at the moment. I had it together at one point, but the transition back to that time has been messy.

 

im in the process of getting my shit together. i did not have my shit together whatsoever when i met my girlfriend. but she really helped with me getting back on track.

 

The girl I'm dating has a family who are family friends with my Ex. My ex told her step mom/dad that I was a drug addict with no ambition...which is pretty much a complete lie. I drink/smoke occasionally, and she did everything that I did. Never pressured her into anything. So now I'm really dreading meeting my new girl's parents because that's all they've heard about me.

I think it was a way for my ex to deflect the fact that she was immediately going to get with my best friend, but who knows. I really want to text her and tell her to fuck off, but that won't help anything, haha.

 

I definitely want to wait until I get my life together and get some confidence before I date
