It doesn't sound like she's ignorant so much as in a bad cycle. Lots of women are taught these means of control are acceptable and normal. My ex used to look thru my phone and I'm sure back then I rationalized it but I wouldn't say I was ignorant or someone should have been advised not to date me because of it
