So a bit of a serious post. My gf and I are falling for each other hard. Today she said wanted to talk to me about something and afterwards that if I thought she was crazy then she would understand.

Her mom is essentially dying due to leukemia and she goes back home (Tampa, we're here in Seattle) frequently to visit. She only moved back here a few months ago after leaving her prior job and life here to move back home to Florida and take care of her mom for 8 months. I guess her mom is taking a turn for the worse and is going to stop the chemo treatments. They don't think she has a lot of time left and my gf asked if I would want to go out there with her for a weekend before her mom is literally or cognitively gone.

I told her I would be honored, as her mom has expressed interest in meeting me. They're super close obviously and I'm honestly flattered that she would even extend the invitation.
