Saw them with The Decemberists last night, super neat to see them in the big room

 

They were great! I was there too :)

 

Knew I’d be overlapping shows with you soon enough, couldn’t really get a gauge on how people felt about Ratboys, but I know folks around me were surprised to see me and some friends showing out for them

 

They were well-received in my section, and I could see several people in the general admission floor area bopping along, too.

 

Who is going tonight?

 

If I think I will get off work in time, I will probably grab a last minute resale ticket and go.

 

Going where?? What??

Edit: ah didn't realize the Decemberists tour was still going on. I thought they announced a special show or something.

Okay I got off work and tickets were super cheap on resale for some reason so now I am going. I am going mainly for Ratboys, I haven’t seen or kept up with the Decemberists in a long time but it will still be a nice time.

 

They were really good tonight! So cool to see them in such a big room after being a fan for so long.

Also Chicago folks they said to mark your calendars for the day after Thanksgiving for their next hometown show.

 

I’m putting money on Pool Party being the day after Thanksgiving. That would correspond to the hidden date Slow Pulp has.

 

Oh wow I didn’t even think of that, but that’s most likely it. Awesome!

 

I'm waiting for a meeting to start so I looked at the Slow Pulp tour image again and what venues are open.

Thalia Hall is open that day and looks like the blur on the image is it. It may not be Pool Party - which I know she said is happening this year - but it definitely seems like Ratboys and Slow Pulp together that day.

I asked on the bands discord and Marcus gave me the code otherwise I would not have found it
