Never heard of Sabrina Claudio. That clip reminded me of Kilo Kish's stuff. Is her other stuff worth checking out?

 

She released an EP earlier this year called "Confidently Lost" which is really good, I'd definitely recommend it

Favorite Janet album? Mine is probably All For You, only because I can't imagine living in a world where the title track doesn't exist.

I bought three Earth, Wind and Fire albums for like $10 total this past month

so rewarding and enjoyable to dive into these guys beyond the staples I already knew

 

Wilson Pickett is severely underrated. I was obsessed with his music for a while there as a teenager. I highly recommend listening to one of the many compilation albums out there.

 

I had a random urge for Jhene Aikos to cover "LOVE.". As it stands, it's an interesting and surprisingly good Kendrick song. But I have a feeling it would be a fucking phenomenal song if a female R&B singer, specifically Jhene, was singing it.

 

LOVE. is my maybe favorite Kendrick song.

It's been a good couple of weeks; Kelela, Sabrina Claudio, dvsn and Brent Faiyaz all released new albums. I have too much to listen to!

Rhye announced their tour dates today. Made me go back and listen to their single which is just so, so good.

 

New Rhye song out, “Taste.” Its really good.

Excited to listen to the new Ty Dolla and Majid Jordan today

 

Surprised at how much I'm enjoying this new Majid Jordan album so far. Thought their debut was pretty boring, might have to give it another chance

 

New 112 album is out.

Boyz II Men album is out too.

 

This was one of my favourite songs in 08. I love it. He released an album that same year, but nothing after that. I just heard it again so I tried to look him up and it there isn't a lot out there, but unless there are a lot of coincidences lining up here, I'm pretty sure he was sentenced to 17 years for murder (he says he did not do it but accepted a plea deal) in 2016. Damn.

Granted I’ve liked everything they’ve done but they found a sound on this one I think

 

I'm happy and relieved because the 112 album is good
