In all seriousness, Bolete might be the best restaurant in Pennsylvania. So if you haven't been and you make trips to Bethlehem, please go. Also, The Bookstore is a truly wonderful speakeasy. Candlelight, menus in books, maybe the best cocktail bar I've been to anywhere, great food. I highly recommend both of them and I think you would really appreciate them.

 

That’s rather charitable to call Con Air good. Like it’s an absurd movie and I love it but I cannot in good faith call that a good movie

I made an appointment at the local Toyota dealership to get my car checked out. I made the earliest one they had available.

I get here and even though I have the appointment it will take 2 hours to get my car checked out. This is so meaningless.

Waffle House, IHOP, Denny's, etc are all location dependent in terms quality. But when they're all good, I'd rank waffle house as the best.

 

Original Pancake House is THE BEST. My grandparents had one in Columbia and I dream about it constantly. Best potatoes and sausage and pancakes I’ve ever had at a chain. I think the closest to me now is NOVA and who wants to ever go there.

I have not. I usually don't come up this far for breakfast unless we're going to Parisppany for dim sum. We like Morristown Pancake House a lot though.

 

its probably not Ive not seen it in 20 years. take it off the list then and those others still stand more favorably over ID.

 

car dealerships are a sham. i made a 9am appt to drop my car off last weekend and i got there and they were like come back by 3 we close then, and im like, you're gonna tell the person who drops it off at noon the same thing why did i make a 9am appt????
