Can't give my vote to someone who can't keep his hands off of children

and idk what you really mean by that...this isn’t like shaming for pollution or something like that it’s something that is democracy which is what our whole system literally rests on and relies on people participating in
I genuinely feel like one of the greatest tricks the elite have ever pulled is convincing people that their vote doesn’t matter

the corona virus is in Fresno now so my work is taking precautions by splitting our warms up before work into small groups and I’m like ok cool but also we are all still in the same room so splitting up seems weird

 

I know most people will dismiss it as right wing propaganda, but if you can watch video after video of Biden groping young girls and still give him your vote, then good for you.

 

because everyone is yelling at each other over say Sanders vs Warren or if being Bernie or bust is a privileged stance, I'm not saying one is right or wrong but if Biden says he doesn't give a shit about young people I can't blame people on an individual level for not voting, I know what Trump is decimating human rights

 

if you think Biden is going to pass even the most surface level left policies ie weed legalization you’re playing yourself. he’s going to cater to oil companies and the uber rich and corporations still aren’t going to pay taxes and the status quo will be upheld while we dodge medical debt collectors and wait for the oceans to rise and start boiling. also I live in Texas and for the time being, no, my vote does not matter. fuck joe biden.

Acknowledging that trump is decimating human rights and then saying you can’t blame people for not voting is absurd to me and ultimately what I’m talking about. That’s a point of privilege because it seems like only people who’s human rights aren’t being threatened could take that stance of “I know trump is decimating human rights BUT Biden doesn’t care about young people!!”

I don't think it's completely fair to say that everyone sees "the lesser of two evils" in Biden vs. Trump as only what affects them personally. I think to many, they do not see a difference between what a Trump admin vs. a Biden admin would do for literally anybody/anything, and i'm having a really hard time finding any holes in that logic. Biden's not going to do anything for minorities, for LGBTQ+ people, for the climate. He may not say the overtly racist/sexist things that Trump says on a daily basis but that's about it.

and I’m not insinuating I want a fucking fascist in office. at the end of the day it’s still a lateral move at best. I’d say we can at least trade racism for watching someone’s brain bleed out through their eyes but that’s not going anywhere either. someone in office that’s going to keep their boot on our throats and has no real plans for keeping the earth habitable for my child is not someone I want to vote for in a state where my vote, again, does not matter.
