I work in the bulk department at a grocery store and our sales have gone UP the last few weeks. Cannot keep beans/lentils/oats in stock.

And still today I had to yell at a guy not to stick his fucking fingers in the bins

Happens once a shift, usually. The best part is the signs on every lid that say USE SCOOPS and ASK FOR SAMPLES. The signs on the skylines. The signs posted between bins. THE SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE AND STILL

Yeah I gotta tell you folks, only buy from bulk departments if:
-they use dispensers where you pull a handle and gravity does the work (and even then, are they cleaning them on a regular basis?)
-the item is individually wrapped, like taffy
-you are watching me open a bag and are the first person to it

I tried one and didn't finish it. The big bacon classic (also known as a dave's single w/ bacon) is the way to go imo... even a jr. bacon cheeseburger is better i'd say. Baconator doesn't have any balance.
