I'd rather hear them play Use Me tbh but that's still awesome

They have a shirt up with dates for each record's show, so looks like one may be coming

They have another poster saying they’ll be playing AWKOHAWNOH and Use Me. Dates are blacked out though

  4. Likely we get AWKOHAWNOH next month and Use Me in January, I reckon. I don't know anything but it's an educated guess.

This album cycle for PVRIS has constantly reminded me of All Time Low’s Dirty Work which was also a nightmare for them.

Never really checked this out but just discovered she has Crohns which means it automatically and immediately gets an attentive listen. Damn...

    Is this body even mine?

As someone with Crohn's, those lines hit hard and sold me on the record as a whole. The pain sucks

Same for sure. I look out for and consume any kind of art/media and interviews relating to Crohns (probably why I enjoyed King of Staten Island more than most). I didn’t learn about Perfume Genius having Crohns until recently as well, made me do a dive into his catalog/new record and came away far more appreciative of his work.

Been seeing PVRIS since 2014 and I had no idea she had Crohn's. I have Ulcerative Colitis, so I appreciate them/her even more now

Didn't know that, so going to deep dive into more of his stuff.

How long have you been diagnosed?

About to hit 6 years, but looking back had some signs/issues at least a couple of years prior.

I hit the one year mark last month, but had symptoms at least nine months before. Actually have my Humira injection tomorrow morning

I’m about to hit two years on Remicade. Always wonder if I should’ve sucked it up and went with Humira but couldn’t stomach (ha) the thought of jabbing myself every week. Definite downside is I’m two weeks from my next infusion and my fatigue/joints/muscles have been bad this week.

I was on the fence with what "long-term" treatment to try first. I wanted to have a bit of control, especially during COVID, so went with the self-injections. A little unnerving at first, but now it's next to nothing. I do every other week, and the hardest part now is getting my pens delivered from CVS.

My body definitely had a rough time this week. Didn't sleep great past few nights, and stomach was slightly off, so hoping today I can reset.

And apparently it’s not suppose to burn anymore I heard? Not sure if you’ve heard of Tessa Miller, but you should definitely check out her What Doesn’t Kill You book that just came out; she’s a good Twitter follow too if you’re into that. Hope you’re able to get some rest and feel better too.

I believe it's citrate-free, so it doesn't burn at all.

Haven't checked her out, but going to now. I have Fridays off, so going to see if I can take a nap later on.

She also has another physical disease I don't remember the name of, something about it shrinking her bones and causing pain, a type of arthritis I believe. I'm 90% OK now but I had severe stomach issues a few years ago. My heart goes out to everyone suffering with this.

Hopefully a better album roll out for them than the last album.

Stoked to see what they do next.
