Yeah, these singles are great. No doubt the most interested I've been in this band since White Noise.

i lost interest after their second album, use me sounded like every other pop album to me, and i miss the atmospheric sounds they had on their first two albums. just way most artists go these days i guess.

 

Wish more albums sounded like Use Me.

Everything post All We Know…has had that slightly cheesy Thirty Seconds to Mars electronic pop-adjacent sound.

 

Yeah, I don't agree at all with that.

 

very similar trajectory…both acts started out as scene bands (maybe less so Thirty) then moved away from that, essentially becoming solo acts with a alt pop-electronic sound.

Animal and Stuck are pretty similar when it comes to song structure. Nothing wrong with the sound, PVRIS at least doesn’t have a predator in the band.

 

they kicked out their predator a couple years ago, i dunno who plays guitar now for em, i saw em once in 2019 with the classic line up

 

Their second album was really great but everything since has been a bit lacklustre for me.

I wish Lynn every bit the success though.

 

I like this one as well as expected. All tracks from this have been great.

White Noise was a solid 3/5 for me. I liked it a lot, but not floored on the whole album.
AWKoH... is a 4/5

it kind of makes me sad that she won't make another album that means as much to me as awk, but that's ok. things change, people change, tastes change, and even if the newer albums/material overall aren't a fave for me there's always a guaranteed bop or 2 or 3
