Ahh my fault, I should have elaborated.

It's the trailer that matches closest to the feeling of the original show to me. If they went one way or the other, I wouldn't mind either, but it's the most consistent trailer out of all of them and gives me the most solace that this should be a fun, campy flick.

I was just watching the marathon. So good.

 

Does anyone else think that Rita's costume looks strangely like the Green Ranger? I know all of this has been talked about in other places but the look of it is so similar to the Rangers.

 

Rumor is that she was a previous Green Ranger that defected

 

Right, exactly. I kind of hope that's the case, but then again unless they do something with it, I don't really care to see her go from Ranger to Rita in a post-credits scene or whatever.

Say they kill Rita, then show us that she was once the green ranger, who cares?

 

Well what I'd like to see, and what some other people have mentioned I think, is that she's defeated at the end, links up with Lord Zedd towards the end too, and then the post-credits scene is her picking Tommy as her Evil Ranger, which makes sense within Canon.

 

That's true also. Then again, I could see them changing things up and combining the green ranger and Rita. It's a weird thing to do but Rita does look like a damn power ranger.

I doubt Rita actually dies, maybe the rangers think that she's dead.

 

As I posted earlier in the thread, there is clearly a green ranger coin in her staff. What they do with that remains to be seen.

They should just bring back Jason David Frank (Tommy). He doesn't look his age and he's still in good shape.

 

This looks like a parody to me. I can't even believe it's real.

 

Have you seen the two other Power Ranger movies? This looks better than those by a long shot.

 

Don't know if anybody has seen these. JDF is not opposed to donning the suit whenever. Would be cool/awesome nostalgia to at least get a cameo.

 

Of course he isn't, he makes a living off the fandom

 

Early reviews should start coming in today. Currently three and three on RT.

 

43% on RT. Not surprised. This doesn't even look like a power rangers film.
