New El Ten Eleven album New Year's Eve out March 4th:

Finally checked out Bruit (no idea how to get the greater than or equal to sign on a mobile keyboard…). I can see what all the fuss was about.

 

A good mix of instrumental Indie, Math, Post and Prog Rock.

Only on Bandcamp at the moment.

 

Post metal with some doom and black metal thrown in. Album releases February 25th.

 

Speaking of Charlie Butler, this is from late last year. Heavy post-rock with some doom, shoegaze, and maybe even some emo:

It attempts to take the spacious sounds of Duster, Slint and the Appleseed Cast and meld them to the expansive heaviness of Isis, Jesu and Boris to help process an intense personal period.

 

+1. Quite solidly my favourite post-adjacent album of the year.

Anyone who still hasn't heard it, get your goddamn shit together.
