This band's got an interesting history. Released 2 EPs in '09/'11, then just completely vanished to the best of my knowledge, and now a decade later, as an instrumental act, have released their debut album which consists almost exclusively of instrumental reworkings of the songs from those 2 EPs.

What are some 2020 releases I should check out?

 

Didn’t know Svalbard were post. I saw them get a lot of talk in the Metal thread. Will check out.

 

I don’t think I would ever call Svalbard post but it’s still a good release nonetheless.

 

Elements and influence are there for sure. A little less cinematic than envy.
