if you're not from Dallas, this probably doesn't mean much but my sister and I came across this on YT not too long ago after not seeing the ad for over 2 decades and were very excited to see it again

I don't remember where I found this, but I look at it often.

 

Local commercials are the best. That same dude has a few other good ones on YT (he refers to himself as the round man with the square deal) but I think that one's my favorite.

 

Girlfriend and I just watched this gem from the '90s. Way more wacky than we both remembered. Lots of fun.

I always do a deep dive for old Halloween specials in October and can't believe I've never found this before. Used to re-air on Nickelodeon until 1996.

 

People around here fucking lovvvved this commercial because of the girl in and store being in a kind of white trashy area and etc lol

Wow I absolutely remember these, but had no idea there was a commercial.

 

I watched a lot of Nickelodeon when I was little and so many commercials from that era have lived in my head ever since. Some are buried pretty deep, but others I still remember very vividly haha

 

The only time Desert Storm and the AIDS Crisis were mentioned on Nickelodeon?

 

On particularly shitty days I'll throw on some 90s commercial compilations on YouTube. It's the perfect thing to shut your brain off and give you that serotonin boost.

Did anyone ever win one of those "send a self-addressed stamped envelope to..." or "send a post card with your name and address..." contests? Fox Kids always had them for dope shit like arcade cabinets.
