I still dont quite understand where money comes in (aside form battle pass). Does your $20 go towards reducing the pack opening counter?

 

You can buy gold, which reduces pack opening. I bought a bundle of it and that was it

 

Why didn’t you just buy real gold Joe?

Been saving all my hourglasses for a new set, very excited

 

Themed parks arent going to be limited, right?

 

I don't think so, the app has had selections for other expansions but none had been released yet, so it should be permanent.

 

So pumped for the new set. The new cards I’ve seen so far seem very cool

I (a sucker) spent $10 on gold to open a bunch of packs and I’ve got I think 48/68 of the cards so far

 

I get paid on Friday so I’m sure I’ll be dropping some more money on this game by the end of the week lol

 

Pulled a Celebi EX and Mew EX so I’m good for the rest of the expansion. Those were the 2 cards I wanted the most

 

Mew EX was in my first pack so I'm happy.

Out of hour glasses or whatever they're call, so gotta wait until later tonight to open more.

 

Did a bunch of the new solo battles and got a ton of hourglasses that way, pulled this beauty

 

Got a Mew ex through a wonder pick, but still haven’t pulled one. Also haven’t pulled a Celebi ex yet. I did get two Gyarados ex cards through a wonder pick and a pick though and I also got a Serperior and a Vaporeon.

Really just looking for two Celebi ex cards and another Mew ex, Serperior, and Vaporeon now

 

I need a good distraction from some crazy life things... should I download this or am I going to get sucked in completely to the level where I disassociate from everything else in the real world?

 

Absolutely

 

Not really a distraction. You only get a new pack of cards once every 12 hours. Battling is fun when you first play cause it's new and exciting, but there's so many meta decks that make it not fun.

 

Simply counter meta with meta

 

In all seriousness, I think there are a lot of viable decks that you can play right now in “the meta.” I don’t think you’re doomed to lose if you’re not running, like, a Mewtwo ex or Celebi ex deck
