this game is ridiculous lol

 

Still not 100% sure what I'm doing in this game but it has made aimless wandering more fun

 

yep, it could not improve at all and i'd probably still play it just because it has made my walks more interesting

 

It makes me want to explore more of the city just to see what I can find. Probably going to be the best tool to more familiarize myself with my location lol

 

It needs to be on. But you can turn on the power save mode which lets you put your phone in your pocket upside down and it'll turn off the screen to save battery.

 

ah ok cool, just tried it out, thanks. semi-related, any word on the data usage of this app? especially when considering leaving it running to walk around, ya know

how come when i'm controlling a gym and wander away when someone challenges me it doesnt alert me within the app? seems like thatd be useful

 

I'm assuming since they labeled Jigglypuff Normal/Fairy that other gens will come in due time. There'd be no point in including a 6th gen typing for the five 1st Gen Fairies.

So that's sweet.

 

they said at the e3 presentation that other gens are coming.

 

My mistake, thanks for clarifying. My hunt for information didn't bring that up haha.

 

When they evolve their movesets sometimes change but otherwise I haven't noticed anything

 

Everyone has way better Pokemon than me

 

it is pretty insane to me that the only way to collect candies is by capturing the same pokemon. im shocked they wouldnt have them available via microtransaction

 

I wish that catching/exchanging an evolution could get you more. Feels weird catching a Weepinbell and getting the same reward as a Bellsprout.

 

I spend all my time thinking about this game and there's not even that much to do in it.

Didn't realize the same Pokemon could have different movesets. I have one Raticate that knows Quick Attack and Dig and another that knows Bite and Hyper Fang. Guess I should start checking that out before I release them.

 

Charmander hatched out of a 2km egg. This game makes no fucking sense.

 

My current 6 strongest include a Pidgeot, three Pidgeottos, and two Radicates.

It'd be cool if they would occasionally switch up which Pokemon could be found in which area. Like randomize it every week or so

 

Lots of Omanyte and Electabuzz at Santa Monica Pier haha
