I don’t like the Digimon World games. :/

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Why do you feel the need to shove your opinion so forcefully on people?

The game doesn't suck. It's a fun Digimon game with a decent story. The combat was fun. I spent $15 on it and got my money's worth and enjoyed it. My bar for quality isn't low.

Because it's why we keep getting bad games. People keep accepting and paying for low quality. That's why I say what I say. I'm not going to apologize for being honest about a game.

Its at the point where you comment on every single post that enjoys it. Just say it once and leave it at that. I don't like most of the stuff posted in the video game thread, but continuing to hammer it home makes people like you less, not the game.

There's being honest, and then there's being a dick. You see it as low quality. I don't think it is. Constantly badgering people saying it's low quality does nothing.

    "willful ignorance"

Because I think something is good, I'm ignorant? Stop with your condescending bullshit. Honestly.

So what are you guys hoping Nintendo reveals at E3 concerning Let's Go?

I don't know that we see much of anything. They may just rehash the video. Usually, they leave stuff out that they have plans for individual events. Reveal the new Poke? Maybe a playable demo on the floor? That is probably less likely since they are on the last day.

I would like an HD overlook of Kanto so I can see how similar it is to Yellow and so I can see how some of the locations look in HD. That's all I'm asking for. Okay, maybe a sneak peek at the online features as well. I'm pretty sure Nintendo's time will be Smash Bros & Friends, though.

    So assuming that this weekend...

    1. I hope that the new Pokemon are new evolutions for Eevee and Pikachu. It's way more likely we get a new Eeveeloution than a new Pikachu evolution, but it might not be a coincidence that the news "leaked" recently about Pikachu's planned third evolution. If it's not this, then I hope we at least get an idea of what the new Pokemon is/are.

    2. Although Let's Go is being described as a Yellow re-imagining I hope we get a hint that it'll include the Orange Islands. I'm always up for having more gameplay in my Pokemon game, and Orange Islands may be the way to introduce more than the original 151.

    3. I hope they clear up just how Pokemon Go Pokemon will work in Let's Go. Can we only deposit them in one area and play with them and not use them in our team? Can we only transfer them once we've caught the same Pokemon in the game so we can't fill up our Pokedex the first day out? Can I solo all of Let's Go with my Mew from PoGo?

Two new Pokemon would make sense, but I thought we were just getting one.

It's a completely new Pokemon from what I've read on serebii and Twitter.

Some of those we can currently answer. It was confirmed through a Q&A that you can only transfer with Go once you get midway through Let's Go and then when you do transfer them the shinies will remain shiny, they'll be sent to the Let's Go Ranch and you'll need to catch them again, and they can't be transferred back to Go. So yes, if you get midway through the game on day 1 then you can transfer what you wish but where's the fun in that?

I would love the Orange or Sevii islands but I won't hold my breath on GameFreak going the extra mile. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we get a functioning Safari Zone.

Oh nice. I didn't know that the PoGo stuff was already confirmed. That's a bummer that I can't get them back on my PoGo game, but it makes sense why. I'll need to stock up on my duplicates of decent Pokemon to transfer over.

If I had to guess I'd say that we might see some island action as DLC or some sort of expansion a few months into Lets Go. It would be a good way to build up the hype before the Gen 8 announcements come. Plus, DLC is the way to go on consoles now, right?

If DLC convinces GameFreak to give up a full Kanto then I'm all for it. My guess on why you can't transfer mons back to Go is due to them receiving (or being able to learn) two new moves for the traditional four move slots. I will probably keep a lot of my mons in Go so that I can just catch/evolve them in Let's Go. More bang for my buck.

My favorite part of Pokémon is team building (type coverage, attack choices, etc). I’m most interested to see if the battle systems are simplified. Not just if it’s turn based or not. But there have been additions to the system over time (natures, mega evolution, z moves, etc). It doesn’t seem like a game that’ll be used competitively.

It's just Pokemon Go 2.0. In my mind it's really unfortunate because it's mostly what Pokemon Go should have been in the first place. It should have had trading and battling and now Niantic gets a pass on not having to implement any of that because Let's Go is coming out.

From the trailer I saw, Let’s Go has way more in common with the standard Pokémon games. It doesn’t even look like the Pokémon Go stuff is required.

There's no battling wild Pokemon, there's no more random encounters (why even have tall grass then? Don't people clear walking trails in Kanto?), and the catching system is exactly the same as Pokemon Go which I find weird because in an actual Pokemon RPG that makes no sense. You think a Charizard is not going to try to flamethrower the heck outta you? The whole purpose of battling wild Pokemon was two fold: to keep the wild Pokemon engaged and distracted by your Pokemon so you can strategically throw the ball and to weaken it so there's less of a chance it will be able to fight back. This change makes no sense in the world that's been established in the past Pokemon games.

I’m not sure logic is the logical way to argue about Pokémon game systems.
