I wonder if they’re boosted or something

 

Is there any chance that shinies spawn in the same place? I got a shiny carvanha in the park yesterday in the exact same part of the trail that I got a shiny snubbull last week. I’m sure it’s just coincidence but that would be pretty awesome.

 

been saving up my Swablus for a few years with the hopes that I could get a shiny before evolving, and I finally got one last week!

 

I moved yesterday and opened this up to see what’s around

Once you've used the name trick, Eevee can be evolved into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts with it, which means your chosen Eevee needs to be at Great Buddy Level. You'll also still need 25 Eevee Candy.

70 buddy hearts isnt too too crazy, its like a week or two worth of work

 

Thinking I'll finally use my shiny Eevee on Sylveon

 

That kira name trick did not work with me. Wtf.

edit: nvm. Restarted the app and it worked.

 

I never remember to do the stupid buddy stuff, it took me like three weeks to evolve my Swirlix lol

 

Just started playing this game this past week (I know I’m like 6 years late) and it is so much fun.

Definitely jealous of those screenshots above with all the Pokestops and gyms and what it. Not too much in my area but fun nonetheless.

 

I know where the first three eevee names came from but where did the rest come from?

 

I believe they're from the anime, right? There's like specific trainers who only use specific evolutions of Eevee I think, and I think the trainer names are the Eevee names in the game.

 

How do you get XL Candy?

 

I get it when I catch things. But it may be a level 40 and higher thing?

 

XL candy can be obtained from buddy walking, catches, and eggs. But, it is only available to players level 40 or over.

 

Makes sense, I'm Level 39 lol
