I think the Johto event ends in a few hours, so Natu and Sunkern shinies are gonna be less likely afterwards

 

yeah it’s over at 4 supposedly. from what i understand their shiny rates aren’t boosted right now, just their spawn rates. Natu spawn commonly enough around here that it’s a matter of time before that one, but i never see Sunkern spawn. i walked one for like 25 candies just to get the Sunflora dex entry around April. now i hope i never see one again.

 

Yesss can't wait for this event to end

 

Yeah I'm good with it ending, might take a little walk to see if I can get a few more of the Pineco encounter quests before they are gone

 

I didn't have time to play much for this event so I'm disappointed. I had to build an enclosure for my rabbits.

 

Kind of over Sunkern and Snubbull being everywhere to be honest, though I would have liked a Lugia weekend to go with Ho-Oh.

 

the only bummer for me is tomorrow I'll get to the last quest line for Celebi and will have a tougher time getting 40 grass or psychic type without Sunkern and Natu everywhere. Worse things have happened

Mostly just bummed that I never got a Milltank (still an empty dex entry). I never found the task and I even had a wild spawn in my neighborhood that I didn't end up finding. Searched all around at about 10 p.m. that night for nothing.

 

Had a wild milltank pop up for me the other day, caught it. Glad because I do not have the skill to make 4 great curveballs in a row.

 

I got it and did it inside half hour which was mad. I had to super selective and only throw it at Mr Mimes, Volbeats, and so on.

How much longer have I got to find the Spinda research by the way?

 

Well the research tasks will change on the 1st September, no idea whether Spinda will be sticking around though.

When I had 3 Excellent Curves in a row I managed it by finding a wild Ursaring.

 

If anything they'll add a new variation of Spinda.

 

I suck as finding specific research tasks. I'm never in an area with many stops, and if I am, I'm probably too busy to play. Stupid panda.

 

I just found 3 random codes in this thread for me and my wife to get the 3 new friends. Thanks gang!

 

It's frustrating how the UK is pretty tied with Germany as the third biggest user/spender on the game and we have never gotten any event or special spawn or anything. Even the Dortmund raid this year was terrible apparently. AND our regional has a baby coming out meaning we probably lose our gen 1 regional to something crap.

Europe is really badly treated by niantic.

 

I’m on step 5? I have to evolve Eeevee into Umbreon and trade a Pokémon. Celebi tasks are not as difficult as the Mew tasks were.

I’m still not evolving my Wailmer, Feebas, or Swablu until the Jirachi research is available.

 

I never realize how much I enjoy the events until they are over. Back to not really playing much.

 

Yeah I loaded the game up once today, saw only a Regirock raid, Woopers, Sentrets, Pidgeys, and Arons. Merrrrrrrrp.

 

Just took down a gym with a weather boosted sudowoodu. Don’t know why that’s funny to me

 

Fucking Arons are everywhere. I have three shiny Aggrons and still have 500+ candies.

I’m kinda happy the event is over because now
I can catch most things with a normal pokeball rather than struggling to acquire great and ultra balls from pokestops. Only thing I’m bummed about is no more Larvitar spawns. I got tons more candy from the event which I wasn’t expecting. Don’t really even need it but you can never have enough Ttars.
