I was really hoping that they would have been able to datamine and find out what the research tasks for Celebi are.

 

Just found out that a PokeStop right by where my family lives is giving out the Spinda research today... but I don't go back until tomorrow.

I'm never going to get that fucking panda, I swear.

 

Anyone else noticed new stops/gyms lately?

 

Yeah there's at least a new gym that I'm aware of around here.

 

If one of these 3 Alolan eggs isn’t a Vulpix I think I’m done trying to hatch them. I’ll just try to trade for one. I’m tired of wasting incubators on Sandshrews.

 

I’ve had to start throwing them away.

I’m insanely jealous. My luck is so weird with this game sometimes.

Edit: opened up the app while watching a movie with family. Daughter and I jumped up and we both got him and I got him for my Stepson. That’s was pretty great. It was fun to see my daughter get so excited because he had 3 question marks over his head.

 

Definitely some new PokeStops and gyms (and at least one Stop which is now a gym) at my family's place. Think they may have tried to address the balance between rural areas and cities?

 

My favorite brewery in town is finally a stop, as well as a bunch of other new businesses that have really deserved it. I’m hoping I can suggest some in my neighborhood again where I won’t have to walk on the main road just for one.

 

Came to the beach. Been catching a ton of bulbasaur, chikorita, and treecko. Ghosts also

I decided to walk the two miles to the pub to catch the Arsenal v Chelsea match this morning. Along the way I caught a shiny Snubbull. I can't decide if I should evolve it or keep it a Snubbull because I'm caught between which shiny version I think is better.

 

Got my first ex raid tonight, very excited. Gonna go buy a Go-tcha afterwards at the GameStop nearby.

Also attempted a Tangela raid solo and missed it by seconds. Gonna power up and try again ASAP.

Got him! Good lord he was a pain to catch though, got him on like my second to last ball after being told by other people there that he was pretty easy. Immediately pumped 100k stardust and like 50 rare candies into him, plus a few charge tm’s and fast tm’s to get a better move set.

 

So my game finally updated the new Pokemon encounter animation. It like does a whole transition now when you click on a Pokemon, it either comes in from the side or zooms in from above, things to make it more dynamic but I just find it annoying more than anything. Also they adjusted the gift system a bit so there's arrows on the friends you've sent gifts out to which is really cool, but opening gifts no longer auto scrolls, you have to scroll down to open the next person's gift. Not a big deal, but seems like a pointless change.

 

Turn off AR+ in your settings and it won’t do the whole zoom in thing anymore.
