Oh my God. I didn't know how badly I wanted that until now.

 

Just went out with my stepson looking for a Minun in my neighborhood. Caught about 10 more on top of the 30-40 I’ve already clicked on and nothing. Did get 4 Plusle shiny that I don’t care about though.

 

I’ve gotten a lot of shinies, been grinding hard tapping every damn plus or minus I see. Gonna go out for the last few hours of the event too. I’m making a killing on stardust.

 

Caught a Plusle in New York last night on my first click and a Minun on my first click at a concert tonight. Guess they aren't very rare. Lol

 

No Lugia, no shiny Snorunt, color me upset.

 

I have like 550k stardust right now and I think that’s the most I’ve ever had at one time. I always end up blowing through it, usually on legendaries or Tyrannitar.

I’m at almost 1.9 million. Don’t think I’ve ever broken two before but I can remember. I want to have as much as possible before some trips in case I need to do any expensive trades, plus once I’m actually 40 I want to do some ceremonial powering up.

 

I dont think ive ever had more than 150k stardust. I have such low stardust discipline lol

 

I have absolutely no stardust discipline. I spend it as soon as I have enough to power up something I’m working on. I currently have 191 stardust.

 

This was me for the longest time. I haven’t been raiding in months so if I think about it logically there isn’t any need for me to power anything up. Plus when I finally do it’ll feel sooo sweet to just dump hundreds of thousands of stardust into something and not really have to worry about using it up.

 

Also, it’s pretty interesting to look at how many catches your friends have made in relation to their level. Like I know a level 40 who has like 3000 catches less than me and I’m level 38. It kind of reveals who just raids to level up and who really is invested in the grind of catching everything. Not that there’s one right way to play, but the player who catches everything will (probably) have a more powerful team.

 

Also also, get your eggs hatched because the 1/2 egg hatching distance starts today and lasts for a week. Should be at 4PM EST like most of the events. Only eggs put in incubators after the start of the event are included.

 

I never really pay attention to that stat but now I will have to look at it more closely. You and I are very close, 22 and 20,000.

 

Yeah I definitely started to look at it more with the release of the friendship feature just to kind of see where I stand. Lately my whole game is just catch everything, drive to the next spot, repeat - because I’m realizing more and more how little XP really matters.

Man I don't know if I can go through another Gen. Struggling to find things like Ralts only to have it evolve again is exhausting. haha.

So, this past Friday I decided to evolve my fairly good Vibrava instead of waiting for the 20+ candies I would need to evolve my 98% Trapinch. Little did I know that I would see 20 more Trapinch this weekend...

I did manage to catch two each of shiny Plusle and Minun.
