Still hoping to get a shiny Wailmer!! I'm always excited for the water events tho since usually none of these show up in my area

 

I have a 100% IV Wailmer. Would like very much to compliment him with a shiny version.

Also, I’m really loving this extra stardust. I’ve been able to power up a lot of Pokémon I’ve been working on. Getting pretty close to having a Fully powered up Slaking and Ampharos.

 

Got my shiny shelder yesterday. With a whopping CP of 12. Oh well

 

Got Mew and Kyogre today so it was a good day. Some shinies would have made it better though haha

 

Kyogre murdered three of my teams twice today and I have nothing to show for it.

I’ve been lucky with shinies lately but holy shit i’ll never get baby ones.

 

I got a shiny Magby some time ago. It's ironic, because it took me a year to get a Magby and I got 6 in 3 weeks in December and now I have a shiny one.

 

So, are stops just not giving out 5k and 10k eggs during this event? I was really hoping to take advantage of the extra candy in hopes of hatching a bagon to finally get a Salamence but I’m only getting 2k eggs. It’s kind of annoying. However catching the 98% IV croconaw in the wild was pretty tight

Yeah I haven't gotten anything but 2k's since the event started.

 

Just hatched a Lapras out a 2k egg, and hatched my final Beldum I needed to get this bad dude!

 

I got this yesterday. I actually forgot shiny Luvdisc was a thing in PoGo.

 

Praying to the Pokemon gods that I hatch a Lapras. It's the only Gen 1 I don't have besides Mewtwo and Mr. Mime.

 

I have a shiny Wailmer with enough candies to evolve him... Do I go for it or do I wait to see if evolving a Wailmer is part of the next special research?

 

do we know if there is ever going to be another special research? this all seems purely speculative, when you eventually get Mew, does the special research tab hang around or does it disappear and only have field research?

Yeah it basically confirms that there will eventually be more but anything beyond that is purely a guess. People are just paranoid because a ton of them evolved a Magikarp right before the research started, so they don't want to do the same with Swablu or Wailmer. haha.
